Online School India Healthwealthbridge School following  NCERT/CBSE

If you know about why I started blogging, you will know why I started an Online School .

Education upto class ten atleast should be quality, affordable, interesting, available easily and accessibile. I had a plan like this for a very long time.I launched the school in 2023.But scanning and uploading the study material is tedious work .

It’s taking time.But I am trying.

It’s not the best in terms of design  but I am trying.

The reason I am using CANVA Website builder.I wanted to easily host,video,audio,images,pdf without worrying about optimizing stuff.

For  this year I plan to upload work of standard 6 and 7 .But as I said it’s me doing the work and free education is rarely appreciated.Hence though it needs time,there’s simply no money in it.

I heard Someone say once(don’t remember who),do something impossible, difficult every day without worrying about money.Only one rule it must be worth while.

In an atmosphere of uncertainty, good thought, good,speech and good action works.So here’s to the Online School India Healthwealthbridge School finding it’s very own page on the Healthwealthbridge website.

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, 8th April 2025: FUJIFILM India – a leader in healthcare imaging technology, has announced its latest CSR initiative “Care on Wheels” in Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of World Health Day. Inaugurated by Dr.(Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Honourable Minister of Health and Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh, this groundbreaking intervention features a dual approach with a static healthcare center complemented by a fully equipped mobile van that will deliver X-Ray and clinical chemistry tests combined with tele-radiology and tele-health services directly to people’s doorsteps. Leveraging state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging technology, this initiative ensures cutting-edge medical systems that strengthens healthcare infrastructure in Mandi and ensures access to proactive check-ups where population resides. 

FUJIFILM India is ensuring accessible healthcare for all with this initiative and will reach door to door and address the health concerns in remotest of areas. By deploying state-of-the-art medical equipment through “Care on Wheels,” the company is promoting inclusive healthcare and ensuring that essential diagnostic and imaging services are within reach of every individual. With the CSR approach, the mobile van in its initial phase will cover the whole area of 3,950 km² covering the Mandi district, providing essential services like General Health Checkup, CBC Test, TB Screening, X Ray diagnosis, Tele-Radiology, 18+ Blood Tests, COPD diagnosis and Tele-Consultation with doctor.

As part of this initiative, FUJIFILM India is incorporating cutting-edge diagnostic technology to enhance healthcare delivery. The DRI-CHEM NX600, an automated clinical chemistry analyzer and Portable X-ray Unit FDR Xair, will be deployed in the CSR program, making advanced radiography possible along with quick clinical chemistry reports, even in the most remote locations. These innovations will play a critical role in delivering efficient and precise healthcare diagnostics on the go while covering wide ranges of diseases from COPD to TB.

Forest Bathing:Have you heard about it? #WorldHealthDay

Do you know about forest bathing?Is that even a thing?It’s a Japanese thing and it’s called shinrin-yoku.But when I started falling in love with my green friends,I didn’t know,this was even a thing!

This is where I forest bathe every weekend

But let me start at the very beginning.

I never visited a village before I was married.The closest to forested land  I ever went was Alipurduar (Boro mashir bari).It was lovely with a pond full of fish ,mango and coconut trees everywhere.

After marriage my hubby’s home was in a small village in Malda.Surrounded by mango gardens ,it was quaint,comfy,serene …but falling apart.Like family homes with multiple owners,this was struggling to survive.Belonging to many but owned by none meant ,it’s maintenance was becoming a nightmare.We visited occasionally during Durga Puja but never stayed .

It was 2020 and world went into COVID  lockdown.This was something none of us had ever seen or heard of.

Things flipped on its head during COVID lockdown. I felt caged inside the apartment house.My husband had a brain wave,the village home would get a revamp .My brother-in-law agreed and together they managed to restore the old home,build a new roof,raise a perimeter wall,a swing,a slide,a basketball ring,around 50 trees planted  and a kitchen garden started.

That was then and from 2020 to 2025 we have managed to plant around 500 trees as a family along with friends. We also managed to save around 50 mango trees from being cut down.But all this takes lots of blessings and money.But is not always profitable in the economic sense.

But if it means primordial prevention and money spent preventing developing conditions that cause illness…we did good.

This year we harvested our first tomatoes

We didn’t look back.The village home garden is my favorite place to spend the  weekend .

My friendship with trees,started with the jackfruit tree in the home backyard in Kolkata,followed my Balcony Garden ,village home garden and then the mango orchard.Its an interesting journey and I hope my tree friends continue to help me make my little town and village greener.

Did you know  light filtered through the green canopies filter out the harmful blue light and the green trees not only make the garden shaded, but just the right kind of sunny for you.These days since too much blue light exposure is behind a lot of health issues may be a stroll down a leaf lined park/road is just what you need for good health.On this World Health Day wishing you good health and happiness

The mouth as a mirror: how oral health reflects and influences systemic well-being

A dentist’s chair might not seem like the place where life-threatening illnesses are first uncovered. But often, that’s exactly where the earliest warning signs appear. Your mouth is a mirror reflecting your overall health. From cardiovascular issues to diabetes, systemic diseases often leave their first clues in the oral cavity. Early signs can be subtle, and without the right technology, they often go unnoticed until the disease has progressed.

That’s where AI-powered dental scans are making a difference by turning routine dental check-ups into proactive health screenings. By analyzing oral health markers like gum inflammation,dental caries, enamel erosion, bone density loss, and abnormal tissue growth, AI can help detect conditions that extend far beyond the mouth.

Established connections between oral health and systemic diseases

For over two decades, many research studies have established that dental health is deeply connected to serious illnesses like heart disease, diabetes and even cancer. But most people in India and around the world still treat the dentist like an afterthought. Here are some facts that show why the risk of skipping regular check-ups goes way beyond cavities:

  • Cardiovascular (or heart) diseases: Chronic periodontitis, an inflammatory condition affecting the supporting structures of the teeth, has been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, including atherosclerosis and hypertension. The inflammation resulting from periodontal disease elevates systemic inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), which are known contributors to cardiovascular conditions.
  • Diabetes Mellitus: Vast research by several global medical authors shows a bidirectional relationship exists between diabetes and periodontal disease. Individuals with diabetes are more susceptible to infections, including gum diseases, due to compromised immune responses. Conversely, periodontal disease can impair blood sugar control, exacerbating diabetic conditions.
  • Respiratory infections: Oral health has been linked to respiratory conditions such as pneumonia and COPD. Bacteria from periodontal infections can be aspirated into the lungs, leading to respiratory diseases, especially in vulnerable populations.
  • Cancer: Emerging global studies have identified associations between periodontal disease and an increased risk of certain cancers. For instance, a history of periodontal disease has been linked to a 14% higher risk of developing any cancer, with stronger associations observed for esophageal and gastric cancers.

Traditional dental exams rely on visual assessments and X-rays, which can miss subtle early-stage changes. AI, however, sees patterns and anomalies that human eyes might overlook. By processing vast amounts of data from past cases, AI-powered dental scans can detect minute changes in oral tissues, gums, and bone structure that indicate underlying health risks.

This proactive approach is shifting the role of dentists from being solely oral health specialists to playing a crucial part in early disease detection. By integrating AI into routine dental care, patients can be alerted to potential systemic health issues before they become a crisis.

Make Sleep Health a Priority #WorldSleepDay

Its a moral high ground to claim you are studying day and night .But for me staying awake at night never quite hit the mark.I ended up drowsy ,irritable with low energy and upset stomach.Its not easy to continue studying with low energy .


The theme for World Sleep Day 2025 is “Make Sleep Health a Priority”.

During my school days I never stayed up late at night .It was only during my medical college training that the study load made a dent on my sleep schedule.I could wake up at 6 am or go to sleep at 3am .But somehow I was at my best after 8hours of night sleep .So I aimed for the six am morning wakeup rather than be a night owl.

That was a choice I had as a student and I chose my morning .

But when I became an intern, the rotating duty roster and fragmented sleep hit my life ,I fell like the proverbial ton of  brick.I had digestive issues,lost hair,pimples,anxiety… the works.I would exchange my night oncalls with my then boyfriend ,now husband which I never did repay .

It was bad ,very bad .But with that, we were also preparing for our post graduation entrance exams.That was worse.Because the stress of forty eight hour oncalls with studying simply doesn’t mix.But a disciplined approach and my bset friend forever (read now husband) we both managed to clear the entrances and we were off to New Delhi to learn to fly.

But here too the night duties struck .This time   my hubby was studying to be a Pediatrician and I was training as a ENT surgeon ,different colleges meant I had to do those night on calls.My tummy revolted on multiple occasions throught the three years of PG training whenever I had night duties but I survived dreaming of a future where there would be no night duties.I thought it was the hostel food and classic Delhi belly.

I was going to work at a big Medical College in West Bengal with interns,house staff,PGts ,SRs and a proper tier of work and help …just like it should be.That was how it was in New Delhi where I trained.

Reality struck hard ,fast and cruel.I was going to do atleast 48 to 72 hours oncalls every week and if I took leave it was going to be back to back .The department was short staffed .It was going to get worse and my year six of this struggle ,I had simply had enough.It was time for a new adventure and I wanted to stop chasing the wrong unicorns.

I started my private practice and it has its problem which would be impossible to manage without my husband and all my teachers and well wishers.But I am happy to report I look better ,am happier and healthier and the strongest I have ever felt in my entire life.

Life gives you choices .Many health issues get better simply with rest and a reset of your night time sleep routine.A wind down self care ritual at night  will keep you healthy and happy in the long run.So this year gift yourself one ,if you haven’t.
