Diwali and gifts just go together. When I was a little girl Diwali was the day next to Kali Pujo. The day some people did Laxmi pujo! One extra wonderful day to spend eating and having fun.
That friend is no more. The pujo still happens at her place.Life goes on.You do everything.Have a lot of fun.But you always remember how it was.
Maybe life is a lot more comfortable. But along the way, all the people you wanted to you, wanted to go somewhere else. That’s life.Good bad and ugly the lights of Diwali makes everything beautiful. That’s why even when you want to cry sometimes you end up smiling.Because life really is beautiful and blessed.

It has been a while since I have included chia seeds in my daily routine. I am not sure of what it is doing but yes I am taking it in water once a day. When it comes to Diwali memories, those from the childhood are the dearest. Being the book lover, I would love to get book ends as gifts. Is anybody listening? 😀

Happy Diwali. I am against crackers and stopped bursting since I was 15 or something. I light the colored earth lamps and met friends to share mithai:) Such small things makes Diwali a beautiful earthly affair where we become one with the soul.

Lovely! Diwali and gifts sure go hand in hand. I’ve been considering trying chia seeds, let me know what you do with them and how it tastes. These days I’m having amaranth for breakfast and love it!
