We all want to be rich, and it is possible that we can get rich by thinking positively, and working sincerely and smartly to achieve this!
Think rich….it all starts with a thought.
However, if only just by this, “think rich “mantra things happened, then all the daydreamers of this world would become zillionaires! Life rarely gives you extraordinary success, without you having something extraordinary to offer. Great men have said we get what we deserve, some others have said we get what we want if we truly desire it. More often than not, it’s a combination of both. We get what we deserve, when we really want it and work hard and smart to achieve it.
How the Internet Helped me
Education prepares us to earn a living, but no study material is ever provided to prepare us to save, manage, and grow the money, we earn through all our hard work. Luckily, in this age of Google, we get access to various information that was previously available only through word of mouth. God’s grace and being a doctor is one way life has made me capable of helping people while earning a comfortable living. However a doctor does not automatically learn to save and grow his/ her income.Earn, save, grow, protect was a difficult lesson to learn, but one worth all the hard work.
The’ Jagoinvestor‘ site is one of the best blogs on personal finance which has helped me tremendously. Manish Chauhan of Jagoinvestor, previously a software professional, has done what he preaches in his books. They are a must-read if you want to reorganize your personal finances. I bought all 3 books and completed them in one go. They are the first three on the list.
The books helped me realize the extent of misinformation; we are fed regarding financial products, are largely responsible for our money woes. But personal responsibility for our own choices must be acknowledged first if you want to grow your wealth.
I have a free 52-week Challenge for Saving money tip here.
Books that Helped Me Manage Money Smarter
- 16 Personal Finance Principles Every Investor Should Know (Master Your Financial Life)
- How To Be Your Own Finance Planner in 10 Steps (Master Your Financial Life Book 2)
- #11 Principles to Achieve Financial Freedom
- The Simple path to Wealth
- The Trick To Money Is Having Some by Stuart Wilde is another phenomenal book that makes you realize that money is merely a form of energy and to have it, we need a subtle shift in consciousness. The lesson always thinking positively and you will get what you want! An interesting and hugely rewarding concept only when we control our minds.
- The’ Go-Giver‘ by Bob Burg and John David Mann is a book with a powerful message, that the world has everything for those with a generosity of spirit and definiteness of purpose.
However, the list would be incomplete without mentioning ‘Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and’ Richest Man in Babylon’,2 books that will change the way you think about life and money.
Ultimately, all these books teach a valuable lesson that to manage money well, we have to manage our lives with the principle that, do unto others as you would have others do unto You!

Yes I think happiness we can have only with peace.
Financial freedom is something many Strive for. Personally I never desired to be rich, just happy.
I’ve been thinking about reading Dave Ramsey’s books for awhile now and haven’t taken the plunge! This was a great list too, of books I hadn’t mostly heard of! Thanks!
It was great to read this article.
I think that reading through some of these books would be good. I think I will have to check to see some of them at the library.
Thank you for sharing this list. I should add it to my summer reading list. Thank you.
Amazing post!! Such great information, I really hope to get the books you mention.
