I started blogging in 2014 October 13th. 2025 marks ten years of blogging .I have seen crowd sourced blogging platforms like momspresso and Womens web fail and shut down.I also saw the My Mo Card fiasco .As I am going through the process of growing my blog, podcast and Vlog, the virtual tools ,resources which are very helpful to me are jotted down here.They are meant to help you if you decide to start a Successful blog . As I find better ways, more tools, I will be updating this page to make this a live, growing resource. Blogging challenges and Blogging courses help.   So does Creative writing courses, contests.But at the end of the day, I am a doctor and its my passion for sharing healthcare stories that made me start blogging .So if you are starting a blog now ,remember to do it for the right reason.

What runs Healthwealthbridge?

WebSpacekit

If you want to host your sites while keeping your mind free to write ,this is for you.Plenty of customer support(2026 January when I am writing this).Whether you  want to start a blog or a business website quickly with no headache and plenty of hand-holding, then Webspacekit  is for you.I am blogging since 2011 and can manage most basic tech stuff.But I need guidance for the behind the scenes serious stuff and sometimes you just need choices without ghosting from the customer care support.

Hostgator previously Now Big Rock .Here’s why I dont recommend them.Its a Dark Fairy Tale !Their support is like the longest way to hosting hell!

 

Godaddy:

I like Godaddy as they made buying a domain a cake walk. They constantly have cool offers and have great customer support. Godaddy also offers a hosting service but I have not personally used it.All mu domains are bought from Godaddy .A customer since 2014 .

WordPress 

This is a content management system for my blog. The only one I have used in my 2 years of blogging.I did once set up a blogger blog, but it wasn’t very customizable. Anything I say about the WordPress platform has already been said multiple times. Fantastic, cool, awesome, great user interface and amazing forum support. If you have not used WordPress you are truly missing something. The best part is a lot of cool plugins, themes are totally FREE! They do have premium themes, plug-in, etc but you can do everything and more with their absolutely fabulous collection of free features.

WordPress is my blogging best friend.I would probably not know what to do if not for WordPress. Thank you, WordPress. WordPress also offers a totally free blogging opportunity without buying domain or hosting, the WordPress.com site. You can use it to get a hang of blogging, totally free. But this is not recommended if you are serious about going somewhere with your blog. Why would you want to build your digital empire on borrowed land? WordPress app for blogging is also available.

Jetpack (I use the free version now but peviously used a premium version)and WP Rocket I use paid versions of to run my blog.

Creatives: I have used Canva forever.

About Visual content CANVA: It’s a lifesaver for all things creative and is easily the best site for all your designing needs. Even if you are a novice Canva will help you

Inshot free version for Android If you want to make your vlogging journey easier you must sign up for Lumen 5. They have a fantastic platform for media, sounds and a really smart professional look to the end result.I loved the feature of the square video.It was great on Instagram, but now they have made that feature paid. Overall a fantastic platform to make video content a breeze!

Inshot is a very useful phone app.I also use the Samsung phone movie maker.YT Create and YT studio .The latter two gives me access to youtube free music with minimal hassle.

Youtube Create on the Android phone is handy too on the go.But even this one doesn’t allow direct uploading to the Youtube channel

This one I should have updated long ago. But the payment methods didn’t have net banking and I couldn’t buy with a credit card. Extraordinarily useful for people like me.Easy on the pocket. It helps you upload video and audio on the website without straining the host server. This is done through video press. Unlimited scheduled sharing of blog posts with the handy publicize option.
