2020 is coming to an end and if you have just found my blog, I want to share about a free book you can download, until the 13th of December( 12:00 PM Indian time).
It’s the book I wrote in April 2020, when India went into lockdown. With COVID-19 scaring the living daylights out of everyone, it was almost like I had to write all the things I didn’t want I didn’t dare before.
I started blogging in 2014 to share my professional knowledge and expertise about health, nutrition, wellness, and the not so smooth journey of earning money online. Making money online in India? Does that even happen? This was a mystery I needed to solve and that’s why most of the content on this blog is about health, wellness, and personal finance topics which have helped me now blogging and writing did help me earn money and that’s where my books on Kindle unlimited help so as a thank you, I try to share my books for free, whenever the Kindle select gives these promo opportunities.
Itโs the first in the Krishna Mishra Mystery series. You can download the book or gift it to someone. Here’s the Book link. Would love it if you let me know what you think of the series.
On another note tckpublishing just published their 2020 book awards and my book Fruits for life: Nutrition Secrets Your Doctor Won’t Tell, won third place in the health category. Do check out the wonderful resources they have for writers.
Last year my book on Probiotics and Life won and I couldnโt be happier. I have always written nonfiction except for a few fiction pieces here and there. But in 2020 I realized a truth; you need to write down all the things you want to do and just do them one at a time.
I am happy to tell you I took a creative writing course, finished the first mystery book as an assignment, and then also published the second book in the series.
In 2020, Kindle Unlimited and the entire self-publishing industry motivated me to keep doing what I did. Because in the middle of all the crazy, it was a comforting constant. It helped keep me calm, writing, and publishing.ย The 3 books I have published in 2020 are the two from the Krishna Misra series and the nonfiction book onย Childhoodย obesity.ย Plus all the writing on my blog keeps my writing muscles happy. It’s the digital home, anywhere everywhere.Writing motivates me and Amazon KDP is a big reason to smile ,for self published authors like me .
Now I would never have started writing books if not for the Blogchatter eBook Carnival. But if not for KDP select my books would never be sold. Having my books on the Prime Reader list several times helped boost my confidence. Now that I am learning the ifs and buts and beyond I will be sharing all about that in 2021. But if one super-rich e-commerce giant deserves a thank you, it’s Amazon.
Not only my online shopping, but earning money from selling my eBooks was a distant dream which I didnโt even know how to dream.
So, thank you Jeff Bezos for believing in books, the worldโs largest book library, and making book publishing truly democratic. Because at the end of the day, books are our chance to learn and share. If you are not reading you are not learning.
Give my book a readย these holidaysย and if you let me know in the comments below or on Twitter @misra_amrita .ย Writing this for the cornerstone content Challenge .The topic was content that motivates and I hope the post did it’s part.

Congratulation on your books doing so well with the awards!! I know what you mean about wanting to help people, and I appreciate the fact that you let people know when they can get your ebooks for free. I want to write more books, too, but haven’t for a couple of years now. Hopefully, I will get back to it one of these days.
