What are the Greatest challenge people face today? This one’s complicated and is a topic Blogchatter asked us to write about.
Last two years have helped me realize how blessed we are .But even in that gratefulness I realized we are suffering from a new set of challenges.
But before that serious stuff check out my book the Darjeeling Diamonds:Krishna Mishra Mystery Book 4.Its free for a limited period and forever free to read on Kindle Unlimited.
Greatest Challenge People Face Today!
Making people remember that cutting trees means shutting of oxygen supply .This is a topic I can rant on forever. I started writing when I started to garden. So not only do I owe plants for the oxygen I breathe in,but also the words that pour out. That’s the greatest Challenge.
But thete are a few other challenges I want to mention here .
The challenge of keeping mind and body healthy .It’s tough when you are tied to a phone or some sort of smart device.I can’t seem to like body worn device. It’s like an invasion of privacy to a whole new level. Its even tougher when you eat things out of packets whose ingredient lists needs serious chemistry knowledge to decipher.Rising non-communicable diseases are a direct indicator of this challenge.
The challenge of staying connected with people who matter. Its more of a challenge because we are overwhelmed by the digital chatter. Its easy to hop onto a call via video with anyone anywhere in the world. But sometimes in all that extra busy-bee behavior we stop connecting with people who are close to our heart. That needs to change, if we want the human race to survive.
The challenge of teaching kids the value of education. Everyone appears to be teaching a 5 step course to “getting rich in 21 days ” type thing.Hard work, strategy, sincerity and creating value is not cool enough.Learning happens lifelong .Having fun with it and working on self improvement takes us far.
Everyone is in a hurry to go somewhere. But one they reach it ,it’s another new chase.Finding contentment doesn’t need to be difficult. But it will need introspection and being honest with your own self.
I am writing this for the #BlogchatterBloghop ,what kind of challenge do you think needs urgent intervention?

I agree with you on all points, Amrita. Everyone is in a hurry and people are overwhelmed with digital chatter. It’s a task to keep up with all since you are just a message away.
Dr.Amrita Basu(MBBS,MS) says
Yes.Thats the reason having a sense of peace inside is crucial.

These are all great challenges. Another on is to challenge children to do their best but if they come to a bump in the road, it’s not a failure, it’s a learning experience. Don’t put them down if this happens.
Dr.Amrita Basu(MBBS,MS) says
That’s so true Martha.Every experience is a learning one.

Amrita, I would rather read Darjeeling Diamonds than think about the big challenges of the World. That said, you outlined them so beautifully. Well said!
