Skills are important to make us live our dreams. When we dream ,we plan subconsciously .When we act on those dreams ,they become a reality. But its important you know how to follow those steps to reality.
3 Skills I am Thankful for are:
- Speed reading
- Situation Analysis
- Digging for information,a.k.a research
I am thankful for my speed reading skills.
Whatever I do as a doctor ,teacher and a blogger I never stop reading .Until you read you cannot learn to write better. That is a well-known fact.Reading for me is like breathing, I can’t seem to stop. What would I do with my eyes and brain if I didn’t read?
I learnt blogging and gardening by reading .Recently I started reviewing the work at home tool kit. It gives you amazing clarity about different avenues open for working from home.It will make many people very happy . It also has a book by Amy Lynn Andrews ,Tell me your time. Its a “rewire your inner clock” ,hand book for busy mums.Working from home will never be the same again.
If I couldn’t speed read ,I wouldn’t be able to review books ,blogs, nor would I enjoy my favorites mysteries .
2 Resources I suggest to practice speed reading:(More tips will be added)

The Second Skill
Situation analysis
I am not a great people manage.Thats my hubby’s speciality . But I am pretty good at situation analysis.I have a wild imagination .That helps.Best case scenario and worst case scenario happens in my brain ,like a movie in fast forward with parallel tracks on parallel screens.Crazy huh?
But its helpful professionally and personally. After this mad movie run in my brain , I work backwards to eliminate all dangers for worst case scenario .Mistakes happen, but for that there’s plan B ,C and hubby.
I also do my best to enhance the way for the best case scenario .This way few situation is left to guess-work,End result is ,it help me sleep better at night .
Whats intuition?
Intuition may be most usefully viewed as a form of unconscious pattern-matching cognition, which becomes conscious under certain conditions and which is only loosely related to primary process.(Pubmed).
