Fighting writer’s block is not easy. In this episode of the Healthwealthbridge Podcast, I share my number 1 tip to fight writer’s block.
I took the Creative Writing course by Kulpreet Yadav at Internshala in 2020. It helped me become a better storyteller. But writing as you know is not an exact science. You add a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and using those same letters everyone uses, you have to weave your tale. So here is mine talking about my number one tip to fight Writers Block and my number one favorite blog post.
Launching season 3 of the Healtwhealthbridge Podcast this is episode #128 and I am grateful for all the support I have received over the years. I started podcasting in 2018 and as with technology, nothing stays new or glittery like the first flush of love.
Writing too is a fight between the self which wants me to get better, feel better, and write better, and the one that says nothing matters. Dust to dust and all becomes meaningless or is that not right?
Why exactly do I write or keep writing? I started blogging on 13th October 2014 and it’s a roller coaster. Blogging seems to be Neanderthal when I see all the fancy stuff everyone is doing. Plodding away at the computer when you can do a reel or shorts or a fancy captioned video, or is that not the whole story?
If you are a book lover and have read Enid Blyton you will know the power of the book and written words survive way better than anything else. I still love reading mysteries written by Enid Blyton,Erle Stanley Gardner, Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, and Satyajit Ray to name just a few. They are my source of comfort reading and my inspiration to write mysteries. Books that ensure that good will always overshadow the bad, however powerful the bad becomes it’s never a match.
Just like that, your creative block or writer’s block is in no way a match for your writing soul, which bursts forth when you start typing, trying text to speech or whatever way you have to write.
Writing is your way of sharing your story, your voice, and your unique experiences, which is all-important to help someone just like you find their voice or words. So keep writing my friend and if you are a mystery lover you will enjoy this short story Krishna Mishra and the Rani’s Rubies.

I like the idea of getting into a flow state! I wonder if music could help with that. I have a book in mind, but I can’t quite get myself to start writing it.
Dr.Amrita Basu(MBBS,MS) says
Yes music helps me too.But it has to be something which will help put you in the mood to write and not make you start dancing.

I’ve noticed there are times I get writer’s block and think I can’t come up with something to write about. But once a topic pops in my head, the words seem to keep flowing! I’m still interested in doing Vlogging but at the moment I think Lia will be far ahead of me!
Dr.Amrita Basu(MBBS,MS) says
You will be amazing at whatever you do Martha.Writers block doesn’t stand a chance in front of you.Lia is already a creative entrepreneur and I am sure she will do amazing things in the future too
