This time I am ecstatic.

Being featured always makes me happy.
What makes me happier ?Mompreneur’s who struggle against all odds and make beautiful biz.
Mother’s are your first best friend and your first teacher.A teacher who teaches, by always being the best example she can be.
That’s why being a mompreneur is so difficult.
Two words mom and entrepreneur both brings sleepless nights in mind.But what happens when you have twins?
You become a superwoman .Seriously I can’t praise this woman enough.
Meet Ms Basudha Banerjee single mom to twins,computer expert , Jewellery designer and a mompreneur.
Her resume makes me take a deep breath.A very deep one.
She has a postgraduate degree in bioinformatics .Is an Oracle certified Associate and trained in multimedia to name a few.
Impressive professional degrees no doubt But what is even more impressive is her fighting spirit.This need to do more.
Hoimonti is the name of her jewellery design & creation workshop cum boutique.
Hoimonti means born in autumn. Now as fall and all the Indian festivals will be coming soon .This is the best time to launch a beautiful collection of designer jewellery.
Hoimonti’s birth in Basudha’s own words.
I learned to design and make exclusive jewellery from a kind old woman ,who lived near my house at dumdum.
I learned it for amusement & to add some colour in very disturbing married life. Last year I taught a girl ,staying near my father’s house at
Kasba(which is my present residence ).This skill helped her become financially independant.That’s when I realised that I can also start my own
biz.

That’s how Hoimonti came into being.
My dream with this brand….
I want to build a fashion house by this name & create jobs for hardworking helpless girls.
I also want to help single moms to have the option of earning a full income working from home .
I know the gnawing feeling of wanting to be at home with my babies and needing an income.I am through being helpless ,just because I am a single
parent.

I have started the business with a loan of from my brother.All i can say is that Hoimonti is a colourful bliss in my life’s turmoil.

I have written about my blogging journey to help others. But my blog has helped me learn ,grow ,become more grateful every day.
I believe all moms should have the choice to work from home and still make a full-time income. Not because we like staying at home,but because babies need their moms.
