I was lucky when I started blogging. I had a blogging angel called AmyLynnAndrews.
From her blog, I learned about many aspects of blogging and about Pat Flynn, Neil Patel, Brian Dean.
That led me to find virtual blogging mentors who earned money online as a business. I understood that in blogging, just like in life, a relevant source of help and looking for the authority of the person sharing the information is crucial.
Number one mistake to avoid:
To avoid following the advice of every W, Y, Z.Check the real life credentials of the people you follow.
Number two mistake to avoid:
Telling people it’s just a hobby. Because honestly, that devalues all your hard work. It may be part-time but, it’s meaningful, and that’s why you do it. Not remembering that the free blog is not really free. You pay for internet and with your time. You can’t earn more time, so spend time with care.
Number three mistake to avoid:
Not being a part of Blogchatter. I started blogging in 2014. Blogchatter was not yet in the blogging scene. I remember how bored I was feeling when I thought I was blogging in a vacuum. The rest, as they say, is history. I made all my bloggers or writer friends with Blogchatter.
Number 4 mistake to avoid
Focusing only on technical stuff and not on the storytelling.
Number 5 mistake to avoid
Focusing on the storytelling and skipping SEO.
Number 6 mistake to avoid:
Not thinking about the blog as part of your brand .
Number 7 mistake to avoid
Sharing advice about topics involving YMYL(your money your life topics) with no authority or expertise. It can harm your blog if Google finds your content copycat, controversial and not according to proven data. An opinion post on these topics works as long as you steer clear of misleading people. Trust lost is forever.
Number 8 mistake to avoid
Forgetting you can’t fake it forever. Authenticity is crucial.
Number 9 mistake to avoid
Forgetting about 99% hard work when it comes to success. Hardwork is the key to success.
Number 10 mistake to avoid
Not having fun blogging. Because when you stop having fun, it becomes difficult.
The best thing I did with my smartphone is start a blog. The next best thing was to become a part of Blogchatter and the third thing was when I wrote and published my books.
Do what your heart desires, which also lets you earn money and you will stay happy and healthy and

If you want to deep dive, read this book.
Is this all ?Not really. There may be more mistakes I am making now ,but you can only connect the dots looking back(Steve Jobs quote) ,right?I don’t know it all,buy its been 8eigj
