Happiness optimism and positivity has a great effect on your mind.Since not choosing is a choice I like to have my Sunday open-ended.
No agenda .
A little drawing with Rai a lot of cuddling. Wishing time would stand still and rush at the same time.
A little housework.A tiny bit of decluttering.External chaos is after all a sign of inner chaos
Folding and keeping away the clothes(really hate this). At least some of them.Staring at my baby mustard leaves.
Thinking about the naughty sparrow that broke a few branches of my jasmine.
Trying to cook creamy matar masala without messing it up.
Not really doing a lot .
The brain needs a break. Making it a point to have the Indian soldiers in my prayers.
Hoping to go watch a movie like Gumnaami.
Hoping India and Delhi wakes up.to the idea of vertical gardening and green walls on all buildings to stay healthy and improve the countries lungs.
At this rate we won’t survive.
I wondered today at the news.
It’s only Bad news that makes the cut.
What about good news?
Why don’t these politicians work towards decreasing pollution ?
Why didn’t the Delhi government take preventive steps ?
Why didn’t they insist on growing green walls with every new building projects ?
Why do we always have to work backwards?
Why can’t we prevent?
Maybe we can.If you and me want to do something we can.
This studyfound that blogging about a relative suffering from cancer Helps in coping mechanism.
Can blogging help us fight this battle?
I think it’s not too late.We can still do a lot .
Can we give our children fresh air?
Can we give them sunshine?
Can we them a healthy life?
I am stuck in a small town in West Bengal .Not much here but the pollution is still there.
My home has 80 plants .That helps me .
1 to 3 per 100 square feet is said to be adequate.
Will you promise yourself to do a little for the environment ?
That will make this a very #Happy Sunday.
Let me know in the comment below, what your plan to do to help the environment and yourself?

I don’t have too many plants in my balcony but love gardening. I am not getting time for this due to my bust schedule but now you have inspired me to get back to it. Agree with you that all these small things make up for big happiness and internal chaos is not good for anybody in family. Keep writing and keep inspiring.

Health and Happiness are truly non separable Amrita! I too think that we need be keep ourselves healthy to enjoy a happy life. With the Delhi smog I think it is the need of the hour to do something for ourselves first and then to our children too.

That is a lot of little things that lead to big happiness, Amrita.
I love the drawing and I have no doubt that it must have been very relaxing.
The plants surrounding you all not only beautify your house and help to take up the quality of the air you breathe higher but are a sight for sore eyes! Love that!
