New Obesity Strategy in the UK and Free book on Childhood Obesity and Adult life
Did you know England just passed a law banning Fast food high fat, salt sugar food ads on Primetime television? There may also be a ban on buy one and get one free deal for such food. Definitely a good idea.
Children watching such ads are more likely to choose unhealthy food options and eat out more often at fast food places. The calorie content of meals indoors is usually less than that at restaurants. The only way to stop the spiraling numbers of the obesity pandemic is to fight it right.
The UK government feels that by focusing on children even the parents will understand the value of healthy food every day. A new obesity strategy unveiled, as the country is urged to lose weight and live healthy to beat COVID19. The strategy by UL government plans to focus on both childhood and adult obesity as a whole.
It’s not just about now, but the future.
