It starts with a mindset .So when the going gets tough ,you know what happens right?Since I read Darwin’s theory of evolution, I have judged my life challenges as survival bonuses. It helps me get out of my comfort zone and continue to fight for survival.I do it for my own self and for my family. Some days I wonder though about who is listening.
Fighting the imposter syndrome is tough. Then on days like these when I hear news about fake IAS officers conducting vaccination camps with impunity ,I forget about imposter syndrome. If people like you and me don’t talk about things that matter ,the world will be a mass of Instagram filters.
So gyan for today:
Use the filter or not.But remember it’s a filter not real life.
The best way to stay organized as a writer,is to write the first thing in the morning. But exercising and getting ready for school takes precedence. Then I write or paint until I leave for my work .Nowadays we are working like relay partners.
By the way my entry for the Rodecast challenge is live will you please vote for me.I deeply appreciate your support .

If it’s ten minutes you write for ten minutes. That’s what I am trying to do.But the best us if I can get my important work written before 4 pm.That’s why I wrote down a few words today morning before starting work. Then post lunch when I just want to laze around I writte some more while daughter does her homework. It’s the calm before I start cooking for the evening meals.
Don’t skip the exercise !
When I walk on the treadmill and clear up social media work.
Focus on the good stuff.
In this small town the second lockdown was tough in many ways. The community is slowly limping back.
Six month into 2021 and we just finalized our clinic in Kolkata. It’s a lovely location with view of a big paddy field just opposite. In winters migratory birds visit because part of it is wet lands.
Did you know wetlands are great source of urban carbon slumps?
That’s why when the wetlands are built over there occurs release of the carbon into the atmosphere.Unplanned construction in wetlands cause big environmental problems. That’s the sad thing about cities. They have missing lungs.
But Kolkata has several jewels in its crown. The Southern Avenue Rabindrasarobar Lake, the ecopark are two of my favorite. We visited Kolkata Ecopark with family .It was blissfully empty .We ate out at Cafe Ekante which had plexiglass screens separating tables and masked servers.
Beautiful views and a plan to have a night stay by the water was made .Sharing a few beautiful pictures from our visit there.

Hello Dr. Amrita, I like to think of our daily challenges as free life seminars we preplanned before we reached this planet. As for with mornings, I am not good at that time. I can meditate, eat, workout, but I cannot seem to write early. My thoughts and words flow best at night so I work with what my body tells me. thank you for sharing your thoughts. Sending lots of love and gratitude. Jaime
