Threptin is a meal between meals. That’s their tag line too. It’s a protein snack that is a family favorite. It’s a protein supplement with no soya. My daughter has Threptin as a snack since she was two years of age together with some other protein-rich snacks and milk. Children need nutrition as well as variety.But remember- you don’t need to give this if your child is getting her daily protein requirements from a well balanced diet.
In the growing age, you need protein boosts and children hate boredom
As a parent, I am forever trying out protein sources. While one egg a day and three fours small fish, daal is part of her daily protein intake. Rai likes only homemade baked goodies and doesn’t like cream biscuits or crave kurkurey, chips, etc. A big reason being, we don’t buy them eat them or have them at home A conscious decision which saves many a tummy ache.
We started Threptin after my hubby asked me to try this with our daughter.

Why do I like Threptin as a snack?
It’s easy to carry. Threptin tasty to eat, but maybe an acquired taste for many, whos taste buds are used to like extra salt sugar and high-fat snacks. The best thing, is to slowly add three to five diskettes, skipping the cream biscuit and fat-filled cookies during snack times.

Since these are simple forms of protein, they can trigger insulinogenic response and not recommended for those not needing extra protein supplementation and getting it from a well balanced diet.
Final Verdict
In between meals for those who are missing protein, in their second growth spurt, adolescents and adults. It’s a good source of protein and energy as an 11 am 4 pm snack.
