When I started writing the first book, it was difficult to write. The next books were easier. ย But the biggest problem is planning the launch. Thatโs where ย ย I am tapping into resources and doing some more challenges. One challenge I am loving is the New Challenge by Ed Dale. If you havenโt heard about it, check it out here.
What am I doing now?
I want my book to reach more people. I am exploring my options and you will be the first person to know all about it.But today I am going to share the behind the scenes of my Blogging in India book series. Writing, blogging, and marketing aย book are three different things. If you check the educational qualifications ofย Indian authors, many have an MBA degree. Thatโs a happy coincidence. Or is it?
- Mythological novelist Ashwin Sanghi has an MBA from Yale.
- Chetan Bhagat: IIM Ahmedabad
- Rashmi Bansal (Author, entrepreneur): IIM Ahmedabad
- Amish Tripathi (Author) – IIM Calcutta
Being a successful authorpreneur needs a different skill set and thatโs the fun part. The next half of this year will be an exploration of the mystical world of Authorpreneurship. I adore a challenge and this digital world is the best way to try things without stressing it. The Blogging in India series are the things I missed when I started my blog. Thatโs why ย I wrote it. Now comes the fun part.
What should you do today to blog better?
Download the book. Read it schedule your writing calendar to incorporate the challenges. Neuroscience says your brain learn better with challenges than anything else. But while trying out the challenges, you need to focus on three important things:
- What is your dream with your blog?
- What is the number one problem your writing journey facing?
- Why are you doing them?
How I write my books? The exact technique.
Every time I write a blog post on an interesting topic, I jot down all the extra details and research I want to add, but is impossible in a blog post. I keep it in a folder as additional material for the book.
Top tip
If you want to write a nonfiction book, focus on one thing you are passionate about and want to learn more. Now research it. Find the gaps in knowledge in the research material. Write a book to fill the gaps.
