Paresh I came to know, during the Super Blogger Challenge. We had common friends but never interacted. A silent person often is a surprise. Par-God is a surprise. Get ready for a chat into this author’s journey. Working full time, blogging and writing books are all in a day’s work for this multi-talented writer.
Why did you write a book?
A. I always wanted to write a book. I started blogging with the aim of writing a book. When I started, my only aim was to become an author. I had no idea about the professional angle of blogging. And eventually, my journey as a professional blogger began after I became an author. That’s why I wrote a book.
What is this book about?
I have written three books.
1st book
Six degrees: I wrote my first book with 20 odd other bloggers and there are 3 stories in it and our (my team’s) story the awakening is a science fiction revolving around 5 characters and with a message of victory of good over evil.
2nd book
Life in Local Train: Life in Local Train is a story of a commuter. It is inspired by incidents which I experienced or observed while commuting via local train.
3rd book
IPL-ology: IPL-ology is the study of IPL. IPL has affected the life of almost every Indian directly or indirectly in some or the other way. So I thought let’s analyze the different factors of the league which has become an important part of Life.
Who helped you write the book?
It was a story writing competition organized by blogadda. They made 30 teams of 10 bloggers each and gave us the characters to web a story. My team webbed a science fiction story around those characters and all things fell in place. We won the competition with that story and our story was published. This is how I became a writer.
It was not only blogadda who helped me. Blogadda gave me the opportunity by putting me in the company of writers who were much more talented than me. Preethi Venugopal, Tina Basu, Soumya Verna, Ashutosh Bandhari, Anmol Rawat are some brilliant writers who edited my chapters and converted my ordinary efforts of writing into a book.
Then in my solo debut blogchatter gave the idea of converting my blog posts into an ebook. Ya…So these people and organizations helped me in writing a book.
Writing habits
There is some or the other thing going on in my mind always. I observe things around and come up with ideas to write. Once my idea is ready then I hardly need 3 hours to write a blog post. When I am writing a book. Then I channelize the idea and do the research on the topics which I want to include in the book. After writing, I myself read the whole thing once. While doing that I make changes in the parts which look odd to me. Then I use tools like Grammarly and MS word to correct the grammatical mistakes.
There is no such schedule that I give these many hours to writing. I just go with the flow. Sometimes, I write the whole day. While sometimes, I don’t write anything even for a whole week. It totally depends on the frame of mind I am in and deadline of the campaigns.
Background and my story
I am a common man of this country. A Sindhi by religion, an MBA (in marketing) by qualification and a son of a former banker. Currently, I am working as an accountant and a surveyor in New India Assurance. I am pretty straightforward and try to stand by my words.
As far as my story is concerned, it is a work in progress. I have written 3 books so far which I mentioned above. I am wearing many hats at the moment. I am a blogger, writer, designer, social media influencer, accountant, surveyor and cricketer (on weekends).

Yes, when I started blogging, I had a plan or rather a dream of writing a book and it was fulfilled soon.

Launch Plan
Yes, I do have a launch plan for IPL-ology.
First I will launch a cover, then will release the teaser, then will use Blogchatter ebook carnival reviews to get the pre-orders and then finally will launch it. Then after launch promotions.
How happy are you with this milestone?
I always feel that life is lived in moments. And every milestone is a special moment. This is my third book and it is on my foray into cricket. So I am really happy.
Future plans
I have one more idea of an ebook. So I will go on with the same plan till the next ebook carnival concentrating more on blogging collaborations.
