The Library Ghost is a book written by my daughter. Yes, I said it. I am super happy, mommy, that we could do this collaborative project in such times.
I wanted to give my daughter something fun and interesting to look forward to every day.
That’s when I thought writing a story and drawing the characters was something she always enjoyed doing.
Why not play with that?
Children are indeed the biggest victims of this Pandemic. Their childhood of carefree fun is threatened by COVID 19.
But if I ignore talking about the serious stuff, teaching my daughter things beyond her syllabus is enchanting.
Kids take to learning new things like a duck to water. They enjoy the creative challenges and keep trying until they get things right.
I wrote about the process we followed while getting The Library Ghost Published. So today I have a gift for you.
The book The Library Ghost ,is free to gift and buy on Amazon for a limited period.

Book Blurb for the Library Ghost
Author Anuprita Misra & Dr. Amrita Basu
Illustrations by Anuprita Misra
When Young detectives Rina and Mira get busy with solving mysteries, you can be sure there’s drama on the way. Curiosity and common sense help them solve the mystery of the Library Ghost and save the library. All in a day’s work.
The setting was a Library. My daughter, interestingly, has only ever visited her school Library. But she heard stories about me regularly haunting libraries wherever I lived.
Stories, I guess, are what you pass down from one generation to the next. The best part about writing them down is someone else can enjoy them too!
