Dr.Nair has created more than 115 green Miyawaki forests. He has aptly founded the group called forest creators.

What a beautiful Mango garden! The problem in our area is too much building. The builders find any piece of land, whether swamp or dry and cut tress to build more houses that are not needed in our area. To my is all greed and we end up having a cement jungle with no trees or wildlife.
It makes me worried at times when I see no respect for nature!
It is so good to see these green iniatives. It gives me hope for the planet.

I love to read stories of environmental heroes like Dr. Nair. We are at a critical time where changes need to be made, and yet it’s sad to see some countries pulling back on their environmental initiatives.
What an interesting concept. I believe in creating more green spaces, too. I’d never heard of Miyawaki before this post. I’ll be sure to investigate more!
