I am a big fan of Bengali movies the old ones and even some of the new ones. The South Indian movies and Hollywood thrillers. But when it comes to making videos for my content I have cold feet.
The sheer irritation of the laptop showing the loading sign and the blue circle going round and round while the screen freezes intermittently as if trying to decide to humor us that a laptop is good enough for video editing.
I have downloaded software and uninstalled them because after I have them on my laptop, opening windows or writing on my Word document becomes a thing needing hours. The computer slows down like a centenarian. Considering our phones with so many audio video editors working so smoothly it surprises me no end that a desktop video editor shows the computer down so much. But worry not.
Flexclip is a free online video editor which makes video editing a breeze.
You can upload from your computer or from your phone by scanning a bar code. It’s seamless and quick.
You can fill the screen with your video and adjust it according to what you want to focus on. You can record too directly. The video editor also has a handy video compress tool and that one makes my life much easier for videos for my Web stories. I get a headache every time I try to compress videos and still make them look good. Learning to edit videos is fun if you have all the time in the world. But the work needs expertise and powerful tools. With video editors like Flexclip, my life just got a gift.
FlexClip is an all-in-one free web tool for making videos, movies, and slideshows without hassle.

Looks like a useful tool. I’m not sure I’m brave or savy enough to try it but it’s helpful to know of it. My partner makes videos of his annual sailing trip with the guys. He spends hours on it. I hear about the compression problems.
