I am a Doctor who never dreamt about content creation. I had only one dream growing up. Become a medical teacher. That way, I could teach during the day and practice in my clinic in the evening. The best of both worlds, right? While I have shared about that part of my life in my about me section, here I talk a little about my blogging, vlogging, and podcasting journey a.k.a creative entrepreneurship journey.
We all love getting awards. The interesting thing is I only started getting awards when I started interacting with other bloggers. I have been blogging since 2014. But it was in a vacuum. I knew nobody who blogged. Luckily, things are a little different, and I have made many friends who blog. Sharing a few of the fun awards in my blogging journey. Do check out the platforms I mention. They offer a great boost to bloggers to showcase their writing skills.
I won a Blogging contest arranged by Semrush. It was sixth place, but it made me very happy. Semrush is a prestigious platform, and a mention there made my day. This was the post about the Future of Video content marketing, and I was competing with pro-bloggers.
I won third place in the TCK publishing Awards for independent authors in 2019 and 2020 in the Health category!
I won third place in India’s first Voice of Anchor challenge with the Doctors Creative Diary Podcast.
I won the second prize in a Blogging Challenge organized by Confused parents for my post
3 Things I Want to Share With The Girl Child #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild
I loved participating in this blog challenge because of its unique format, wonderful promotion, and amazing prizes. This website is helping a lot of parents find the right answers to many problems that parents face.
That’s when I also started winning a variety of awards.
I am a predominantly nonfiction writer. But my first blogging award came for writing fiction.
It all started when I won the #Addtales
This win was a surprise because it was a relay story I weaved on Twitter with Dixita.
The best thing about winning Addatales was, I stopped being afraid of writing fiction.
