My Message to a Child Woman #International Women’s Day 2018?
Last year I wrote a letter to my daughter
Today I was thinking about all the things I wish I knew when I was a child-woman.
Study very hard
Yes, I know the media, parents and everyone else under the sun keep telling you to do different things.
Regular education not important. Its easier than that.Blah blah blah.
The truth is not as easy or as cute.
I wrote about the unpleasant truth about the Indian education system, but today I need to tell you something very important.
You must complete your formal education in something.Yes very important. Those certificates and degrees matter in almost all good paying jobs with any chance of growth. If you want to have a business even then you will need to count your money take inventory to, manage the workforce, marketing, and nineteen thousand weird jobs which somehow education does prepare us for.
Also, try to do it with all your heart.Any work is useless unless you to do it sincerely.I am not talking about perfect here or top score. Both, by the way, are excellent. But I am talking about doing it well.
Wherever you are with whatever be your formal course of study,ย do it well.
Why should you do it well?
Because until you won a scholarship(in that case you can skip this part), your parents are probably paying for this.
Money is Goddess Laxmi and education needs the blessing of Maa Saraswati.Few people can ignore the need for either.
It’s your time.
It’s precious.Make it count.
If you are bored with the course outline.Research it and try to make it interesting.Read my Secret study tips here.
Learn a skill. On Skillshare, you can learn calligraphy, photography, doodle art lessons.Anything Sky is the limit.
Are you getting my drift here?
Just because you need to study a formal course doesn’t mean you give up your creative life and your passions. Both can and will help each other if you avoid mind blocks.
Always be financially independent.
This is important for you not only financially, but also psychologically.I am not going into the whole argument of it.But I want to tell you a secret. The first day you get paid for work well done, you will never forget.
That gives a sense of self-confidence and self-assurance few things give.
Take care of your healthย
Take care of your health and eat the lunch box mom packs for you. Believe me, she has a reason for stuffing it.This is a time when you are going through a lot of physical, emotional and psychological changes. You need that extra protein too!
Never stop loving yourself deeply.Only if you love yourself with all your flaws, will you recognize that same love in another eye.
Choose your friends carefully .choose your life partner with even more care.
While parents help and nurture your growth if your life partner is not supporting your productive years are going to be a difficult battle.
[bctt tweet=”Just like behind every successful man there is a good woman. Behind every successful woman is a good man ” username=”misra_amrita”]
Men and women need each other because God made us that way.But choose with care.
Choose a man you can’t live without.Choose someone who respects you.
Who supports you.Who values your qualities.
Marriage is a lot of work. They are even more work when you marry the wrong kind and for the wrong reason.
While there are few absolutes some things are important to be sure of.
There is no secret formula to finding your Prince Charming. But you can check whether frog a.k.a Boyfriend is a Prince Charming in disguise.

Agree with all the advices. It’s important to be financially independent. And also harbour a skill for one’s creative soul.
