The next mystery you will get to solve with me from the Krishna Mishra Mystery series is Gold in Goa.
I always wanted to do a book cover reveal but felt shy. I always wanted to write a cozy mystery but felt shy.Blogchatter’s Ready to Publish challenge in June helped me by giving me the nudge to get started with the important part about sharing my #wip.
In my everyday life, I am not shy at all. But this creative stuff brings out my unknown shyness.
It’s weird I know . But that’s the way it is.
On another note, yesterday my daughter gave me a very interesting observation. After hearing one of my silly random jokes (which was backed by science) she giggled and said :
Daughter:Maa ,I know what’s missing in your podcast?
Absent minded Me (doom scrolling):”What ?“Daughter:Maa your silly jokes which makes me laugh. You don’t Crack a single joke on your podcast .
Me(No more absent-minded):Hmm,but health is serious .
And “laughter is the best medicine” was the parting shot from someone I gave birth to! Incidentally, she is a fan of the Reader’s digest series of the same name.
Imagine that.
So going forward I will try to not let information weigh you down. I don’t know about jokes, because the balance of appropriate and inappropriate gets very hazy in today’s world. I have no intention of creating a ruckus. But I have the best intentions.
Sharing a few tweet microstories I once shared on Twitter. #Tiniature Stories was a contest by Gayatri Gadre
I started writing to share what I knew about health and wellness. But I ended up writing about many other things which I learned while writing about those “important things”.
Bottom line: We are multidimensional and I hope you will give me your feedback about this book cover and what is the story that comes to your mind when you look at it!
Writing this with the Ultimate Blog Challenge friends in a desperate attempt to stay afloat.
P.S.: My daughter just finished her periodic assessment tests yesterday and I can’t help feeling I deserve a medal.
