How Do I Manage it all? #Voiceof Anchor

This week, Voice of Anchor gave us a challenge. Answer a question your audience asks. I was wondering what to answer. Then I remembered something Geethica asked me.

How do you do it all?

Honestly, I can’t do it all.

I make mistakes. I even fall flat on my face, trying too hard. But friends are family are there to lift me. That’s why I thought my answer to her question will also help you realize the same.

God’s Blessing is an overriding realization, which helps me try even in these times. It helps me stay hopeful even when I don’t seem to have many words to say.

But just like my faith is a big part of my creator journey, so are the people in my life. My friends, family, the creative community.

One other thing I must mention is my health. Both my physical and mental health. There are no two ways about it . Health is the most precious blessing. Listen to the podcast and my selection of songs, which makes me feel inspired.

How do I measure my writing ?

In 2020 and 2021, I could barely write. So I wrote because it helped me feel better sharing. Writing is a wonderful way to share stories, lessons, views, hoping some of them will help or at least entertain.

Who helps me write?

I started writing because I didn’t have anyone to tell my stories. I keep writing because on the way I found kindred souls who helped me keep writing.

All the creative work I do myself. But I have help with the home stuff, work stuff, child management stuff, and the random other. My husband is my biggest supporter in most of the sane things I do. The crazy things get the ‘stare’.

It’s been a very long time since I started blogging. It’s difficult to keep going. But very few things which are worthwhile are.

I missed the first two emails from Paul and then I started getting them. I tried dictating my blog posts on descript.I had written them down by hand. But the desktop app was too glitchy. I wrote my posts but couldn’t publish them. The horrible imposter syndrome started gnawing at my hand. Then I got my booster/precautionary dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.I decided to just write even if it’s just to say hi. So here is me saying a rambling ‘hi’ to you.

Hope you are doing something to keep yourself happy and healthy every day too.

  1. It’s great to hear that your faith sustains you and that you have the support of family and friends.

  2. I think writing helps processing our thoughts and feelings. It’s great that you get to take the time to do so. Nice of your husband to support you, too.

  3. I’m so glad I meet you through blogging, do you remember when? The years just start blending together in our busy lives but for me blogging helps my brain keep thinking and it’s fun! Saying hi back to you and have a wonderful day!
