Mother’s Day is a very special day. More special for me, than my birthday or when I married. The day I got the Dr. in front of my name was special too. But becoming a mother with my daughter’s birth I realized I have to tap into my superpowers.

When my daughter gives me the tightest hugs and multiple kisses.
When she refuses to get up without a hefty dose of cuddles.
When she smiles at me after coming out of the school gate.
When she licks the bowl clean.
When she declares “mommy bakes the best cakes“.
When she draws a mommy -look-a-like with ten hands.

When she says she wants to open a drawing school, a cakeshop and an ice cream parlor, be a blogger as well as a regular doctor.

When I see her dreaming with eyes open.

That’s, when I know, becoming a mother was the first step to unleashing the magic in me. The next part gets more difficult.
