Hi, I am Dr.Amrita.I am an ENT and Head-Neck surgeon and I love balancing left and right brain. The concept of equality of healthcare access, right to quality education, Digital Democracy, and bootstrapping entrepreneurship are my thing. All sound like hocus pocus and may just be that. Whatever it is , you will be knowing all about it.

This website I started in 2014 when I was tired of mindless online shopping while putting my two-year-old to sleep.

A chance to do more than be a consumer. An opportunity to share my professional knowledge and personal experience as a doctor. It’s also a blueprint of my journey towards (hopefully) financial freedom trying different things. Some work, some teach and others are like secrets revealed.

I was previously working at a Medical College, but now I am self-employed as a private practitioner.

Being the wife of a Pediatrician, I could skip a lot of the headaches of doctors’ visits. My husband Dr.Abhijit Misra (MBBS, MD Pediatric Medicine) is behind a lot of the content planning and writing.

Healthwealthbridge is a website by Dr.Amrita Basu and Dr.Abhijit Misra. All medical content is either written by us, written by another medical professional, or edited by us. We believe in improving public healthcare information using digital media, to make it accessible to all.

No treatment is prescribed on the website and we adhere to research-backed peer-reviewed articles and all references are provided with articles.

Together we are a team, but ever since I had my baby life has become a relay race. Both of us cope with baby duty, professional duty, and household duty in that order! This website is a chance to share our professional knowledge and personal experience as a doctor. It’s also a blueprint of our journey towards financial freedom.

Digital Health and Digital Education in India.

My husband my biggest supporter

I was so bored. Everything was the same old, same old stuff. Not challenging at all. I discovered blogging. So much to learn, and totally different from whatever I was doing for the majority of my Life! Talk about a challenge and there it was. Often when the baby was sleeping I used to surf the Internet, signed up for courses read books, checked my mail umpteen times per day, and shopped online (loved that, but a tad one-sided hobby) and generally felt life had come to standstill.

Digital Health & Digital Education in India

I want to create a platform for Quality Digital health and Quality Digital education resources. The digital platform is a user-friendly way of spreading awareness about preventive health care and healthy choices needed every day. Health is a daily step in the right direction and my mission is to put the right tags in the places people will find and follow! So many people with different problems, dreams, talents, all are trying to help in their own way. By helping others they are not only improving their karma but are also striving towards Financial Freedom! Most blogs that are successful are making money(obviously), but they all really have amazing content and that is truly inspiring.

My inspiration love how blogging, appears to make the world a better place.

Healthwealthbridge is also an online journal of a Mompreneur. When you are educated, but you are now a mother. You have resources. But you would rather be a hands-on parent rather than have a paid caregiver, right? That’s where things get tricky. There’s seems to be no simple answer.Sorry.That’s being too optimistic. There’s no REAL answer.

The problem doesn’t exist or the answer doesn’t? The chicken or the egg first? This mystery I plan to solve.

How Can you build a Digital Business in India?

That’s what I am researching and my blog is almost like the raw research data. While I try and test what works, what’s sustainable, what’s worth doing, you will get a chance to see it from the front row.

I consult online and offline as an ENT surgeon and wellness expert. I do a lot of medical copywriting and educational content for various age groups. I am also available for online interviews and for interviewing experts.

I conduct workshops for blogging in India for Doctors and moms. That was not a plan when I started, but the opportunity came knocking.

My books

Amy’s blog… Amy Lynn Andrews is a sweetheart and an angel and an amazingly helpful person. When I started this blog I was at my wit’s end with all the content writing SEO, technical aspects of blogging. I wanted a step-by-step guide. Loved what Amy taught for free on her blog and decided to buy her KNOWTBOOK.(Its now retired). She now made this Website How-to for beginners as a must-read resource for new bloggers.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a credit card (yes it’s true, both I and my hubby are people with no credit cards..not due to lack of credit but it’s a very long story). That caused a problem while buying it and I wrote to her about the problem and whether it would be made available on Amazon. Guess what? Amy immediately answered, by sending me free lifetime access to her KNOWTBOOK. Unfortunately, she discontinued this resource now. But it was very helpful for someone like me.

A must-have, a wonderful resource for all new bloggers.I truly felt that her help made a big difference to how I started viewing my blog and I honestly feel she is a friend. All these wonderful people used their personal voice in their writing, making them wonderful virtual friends.I was eager to get started. The Healthwealthbridge blog is my dream of ‘ Helping in need”
