Adversity is easily the most challenging part of life. But have you ever wondered why fairy tales have stepmoms and Hindi movie have villains? If contemporary literature reflects society, then you have the answer. Becoming stronger doesn’t mean getting the best of life. It means making the best of the cards you are dealt with. Roses have thorns for a reason.

If you think deeply about a few of your life events which have been hard you will realize they are the ones which shaped your character your moral fiber your life view. It’s not despite adversity but because of them that you are the person you are. You and I are both blessed to have the challenges we had. If not for them we would never meet. This post would never attract you to read.

I was struggling with a very interesting issue with my blog. Miraculously I got the answer served to me on a plate.T he answers is so simple yet easy to forget.

13 Secrets No One Tells you about Adversity

#1 The more you fear them the worse it is.

#2 The Universe will give you the problems you can deal with. Nothing more and nothing less. You live the life you want to. It’s a choice you have made.

#3 Reality checks are important in life. That’s why overprotective behavior with kids can be tricky. Walk the talk but don’t fight their battles.

#4 When you think of the stepping stones to success, you will realize everyone is not as lucky as you are.

In India, only 25 % of the population use the internet effectively. One percent pay taxes. If you do both you are in a privileged group. This privilege I am sure was not all roses and has its fair share of thorns. Appreciate your challenges because they are a part of your journey.

#5 Adverse life situations will be difficult but they will always have a silver lining. The trick is to look for them. It’s not going to be easy.But no one gave a guarantee about easy right?

#6 Life, death and everything in between is a mirage, a parallel reality. It’s an experiment your soul does with itself. Its matter-energy and magic all mixed up. Adversity is the necessary suspense needed to make your story interesting.

#7 Write tribe festival of words is a challenge too. It’s making my brain work in mysterious ways. It’s giving me a much-needed midyear boost. It’s also the most refreshing way to start the next half of the year with a  bang.

#8 All the famous people in the world overcame adversity to make a life full of meaning. If you are facing difficulties, remember you are alive for a reason. You can, and will touch the sky. You will break the glass ceiling. Just don’t give up.

#9 Going uphill is always difficult.T hat my dear is adversity all about. When the going gets tough remember to look for the silver lining, thank God and get ready to be at the top. It’s just the beginning!

#10 Money doesn’t solve all problems but does a good job of taking care of most. It’s definitely better to have money, than not.

#11 If you are not getting an education, have no skills which someone will pay for, your adversity may topple the apple cart. Adversity and silver linings work well when you have a few aces up your sleeve. To have the best chances you need to be smarter than those bumps on the road.

#12 Nothing lasts forever.

Thats not true. Some things do. The secret is to find out the good ones which do.

#13 Learning from adversity means, not repeating them. Revising mistakes are not a good life strategy.

  2. The one entry amongst 13 points list that really caught my attention was point no 7! Yes, #WriteBravely is a challenge too and we all are enjoying it and growing with it!
