Thankful Thursdays:Silent Gratitude what good is it?

ThankfulThursdays Silent Gratitude
ThankfulThursdays Silent Gratitude

The prompt this week is interesting .It’s about silent gratitude. Its about when you don’t acknowledge your thankfulness.

Does it work?
Does just feeling thankful work?
If you feel thankful in your heart and say something else with your lips ,is it bad?
Why do you think Thank you is a golden word?
When at school we were taught the three little Golden words

Please ,thank you

and sorry

These 3 together can open all doors for you.
When you dont say thank you ,you deny the universe something.

When you dont say thank you,you stop your chances of getting more of the same.

Do you thank your help ?Do you thank your friends?Your spouse and children?
When you say thank you people feel appreciated. When someones having a bad day, an unepected thank you will help boost them up.
Appreciation is the best way of positive reinforcement.

If you want people to do what you want thank them for their work.
If you want to get along with people, the right way ,thank them .

My daughter listens to new chores easily ,when I thank her for her earlier good behaviour.

It’s the little angels birthday on the 23rd of February and she is turning five!Thats something I am very thankful for.Thank you God for always blessing me.

  1. Hi Amrita,
    I didn’t know you have a linky.
Thanks for bringing your post to the Blogger’s Pit Stop.

  2. Agree..Its important to be thankful but it is equally important to show it. Sometimes we forget to thank people in our life. It has power to make someone happy.

  3. ‘Thank you’ is the magical word in true sense. Counting from a small child to an old person, every human feels positive when we say this word.

  4. Thank you darling for so much love and appreciation; I am just blown away by it all. And thank you for linking my blog contest here – This feels so good Amzee!! I truly hope I deserve all this love n praise.
Your Thankful Thursday posts are just superbly creative and its one of the best Blog Hops I like to participate in and even if I am not able to write, I make it a point to read all the posts. Cheers to many such Kickass prompts!

    1. Thanks Shalini. Its always a pleasure reading your posts. We love doing #TRhankfulThursdays as its not only good for the blog ,but also great for our souls

  5. That’s great that you promote greatfulness and a community spirit here. Being grateful for what we have and who we have around us is the key to happiness.

  6. I think thank you in business and family life is amazing. It helps show people they are wanted! I think giving yourself a pat on the back helps your mental state too!

  7. I totally agree with you that appreciation is the best way of positive reinforcement! It can makes someone’s day! And wishing your daughter many happy returns of the day…!

  8. Saying “Thank you” is so important to me in my book! It means so much. It means you recognize and appreciate something someone has done. It makes a difference when you take the time to say it.

  9. I try my best to show people I am grateful, but I can always benefit from doing this more often. I know how much it means to me when someone takes time out of their day to let me know how special or valuable I am to them as a person. I should make sure to do this daily.

  10. I always say thank you when someone helps me out. I think it’s the polite thing to do. It’s a shame when people aren’t grateful. If they don’t seem appreciative, they can come across as entitled.

  11. Happy Birthday to our dear Rai!
Yes, those 3 words are magic indeed. Thanks to ThankfulThursdays I have become even more thankful than I used to be 🙂

  12. I guess ‘thank you’ is the word that connects anybody and everybody. This magical word breaks the ice between those whose are not on talking terms temporarily. And encourages those who are always loving and generous.
