Thankful Thursday :My mental health

Thankful Thursday is the beginning of a link party ,I am  Co-hosting with Tina .

The link parties are a great way to make new friends and have a great collection of themed stories for readers to read.

Why Thankful Thursday?

Wherever you are whatever you do , things ,people events  in your life has made you what you are .

When you remember each one of them, you open up yourself to receive more such blessings .

Today I am grateful for having my mental health intact.A chip or two happens. I  worry,get anxious , cry .I also rant and have mini breakdowns.

But overall I survive.

I wake up with a smile everyday.

Mental health and physical health goes hand in hand.Probably that’s why my fitness routine is such a mood elevator.

My family is the other factor which help keep my brain humming happily.

Gardening ,reading books,painting  and blogging are the other tools I use for making my mind glow .

Do you have a thankful heart.Work on it, it’s there inside everyone.

Plants purify indoor air ,helps keep you fit and are creativity boosters.They also have a way of making you smile.

  3. Reading, painting and photogrpahy really help me to stay in the zone and focus – they’re a big part of my mental health. You’re very right in pointing to the connection between mental and physical health – the latter is driven by the mind.

  10. This is real fun Amrita!I have already jumped in the wagon.. yes fitness is a mood booster, gives a lot of positive signals to your brain and also makes you happy. I love my morning fitness regime too, sometimes I change it to a simple meditation – just lazy to get out.

  11. Right now we are in a bit of a caregiving crunch between jobs, a mother in law who is in her late 80’s and a developmentally disabled brother in law. Things pile up, things don’t get done. We are both grateful for all the support we do get, and for having the health to do the things we need to do. It is totally all about attitude.

    1. You ate having a lot on your plate right now.Take care of your health and hubby’s health because obviously everything depends on you too.Taking care of family specially the old and the disabled take a lot of heart.But God is watching and this is his way of teaching us about life.We all may need care one day.Thank you for sharing your story.Do visit again.

    Whatever we have in Life today, we should Thank God for it, every day.
    And you can do this, only, if You have a Positive Attitude with some physical exercise which brings oxygen to the brain.
