One reason why you should have your book on #BlogchatterEbook Carnival

My self-publishing journey would have been a pipe dream if not for Blogchatter.Last year after I wrote A to Z I did a few things to help me with my book.

  • I published two books at the same time. One was free on Blogchatter and the other was on Kindle select.
  • The book on Blogchatter eBook carnival had links to my other book and also my blog links.

When you have your Book advertised on Blogchatters site, it’s like an ad of your work for two months. That’s not bad when you are just starting out. Also, you never know what opportunity comes knocking at your door.

This helped me market both my books simultaneously. Also, the links to your blog help drive traffic to your site where you can engage the reader and get them on your list. Isn’t that wonderful?

Remember the downside of this is reduced sales to some extent when you do have your book on Amazon or some other aid option(if thats your goal).

Did you know you can still participate even if you didn’t do A to Z?

Did you know the first step is the most difficult? Did you know book marketing is not easy and is the least favorite part of your job as an author?

That’s where we come in. When I did a Blogchatter project in December, the reason behind the project was my wish to learn about marketing strategy.
