Productivity and Writing:Simple Guide

When you learn to slow down and focus more things to get done. I have too many ideas and too little time. This has its good part and bad part. The good parts are more than the others so that makes me Thankful for this

#1 Its always more important to try, try, try again, till you do it or find a better way.

Blogging and life are holding hands in my life now. When I stop writing, things are more difficult. But when I write through thick and thing, through disappointments and fears and don’t stop then the inertia of motion takes over.

Once you keep doing something which makes you feel good, then you keep on doing it just to feel good. The same thing happens with writing and walking for me. If I miss doing either in a day its not a full day. Reading I do almost nonstop, throughout the day, when I am not working or with my daughter. But writing needs at least an hour of calm.

#2 Sometimes I lack inspiration Sometimes I am too tired. But I try to persist.

Persistence is a superpower and as a writer, if you are planning on being productive persistence is your best friend.

Writing is the most magical way of connecting with people. Even when you have never met them you are writing for those little girls and boys those young women and men who are working hard praying and still believing in magic. I am writing to them

#3 Creative work needs  a  free mind

While reading  Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic I was nodding along with the entire book. My biggest takeaway from the books was that creative work needs to be free. Once you are weighed down material buy expectations it zaps the creative mojo.

The best way to handle it is to keep a job which you are trained for and practice the skill of writing, to liberate your soul. One day you will build your empire.I appreciate the online community of Bloggers and writers who write to keep the craft alive, who write to share a story. Because words, literature, fiction, nonfiction are all documentation of the history of social changes of uprising and revolts. You, my dear friends, are participating in a revolution in your own silent way.

Write with a plan .But don’t plan, while writing. Writing is a science and an art. It’s fun and its difficult. The next month when you and I start getting ready for #BlogchatterEbook festival you can’t stop writing on your blog, just because you are tired if you don’t write who will. If you don’t blog, who will? You owe it to yourself and the history of this world!

Ignore the last part I just got carried away, but I don’t want to strike it out!

Keep writing and keep reading! This is a Reflection post and part of Blogchatter A to Z festival.
