Parakram Diwas is celebrated on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday on 23rd January.
This was named Parakram Diwas in 2021 by the Government of Bharat honoring a revolutionary leader,a man of integrity and bravery who taught his countrymen to dream of freedom and work towards it ,even when shackled by chains of slavery.
Sacrifice ,intelligence, bravery,fortitude,loyalty and honesty are all qualities of a great leader. But the greatest quality was his ability to love his countrymen to such an extent that he gave up his identity and his place in the limelight so that we could one day live in a free country.
It’s a day to remind the youth about not giving up in the face of adversaries.Its a day of remembering a great hero who didn’t choose the easy way but the hard way to freedom.He knew nothing worthwhile can ever be given by colonizing forces.He know the path to true freedom was internal.The battle starts with your own self and then and then only greater good is possible.
At a time when women were not seen or heard ,he included women in the Indian National Army and is easily a hero of heroes.
