Happy Diwali /Happy Laxmi puja and a very happy and blessed Kali puja my friends to all who celebrate.

If you were not sure of the creator economy then two tech giants creating courses and dedicated website for Creators is great news .    Check out what Instagram wants Creators to learn.     Did I tell you the new podcast episode is a submission for Voice of Anchor?I have been using Anchor since 2018 ,but haven’t really done too well with it.

Hope the Voice of Anchor helps .Keeping fingers crossed.

Now about the special Diwali day.

In Bengali we have a saying.

Baro mashey tero parban.

13 festivals in 12 months. We love celebrating with friends and family that’s why embracing the good through these celebrations keep us happy. But before that we pray.

The preparation for Laxmi puja

It’s a time to pray to Goddess Lakshmi again, when it’s said that if you pray and do the puja during auspicious time the Goddess will keep blessing you.

Don’t we all want that,to be blessed?By the way ,the Diwali Laxmi puja I started doing in 2018 when i was gifted a beautiful picture of Goddess Laxmi. My daughter enjoys helping us get ready for the puja and does a lot of fetching and carrying.Traditions are kept alive because kids learn them. Its no stress way to celebrate with friends, families and your near and dear ones.

As a child we celebrated Kali puja at a special place. The lady whose puja it was is no more and I feel a sense of emptiness when I remember. That’s why I wanted to start a different story in its place.

As a creator I completed seven years on the internet and my website is now in its 8th year.I can’t believe I am doing this even now and if numbers are to be believed, there are now close to 1 billion blogs in the world.Thats what I read on a recent blog post by Neil Patel and it made me think.

That’s a huge amount of words. Are people reading them?If people who write blogs, don’t read blogs or books ,do they expect to be read?

Can you cook the food you don’t eat ?I find it hard.

But all that is for another today we have plans.

I am fasting till the puja in the evening.

The home is decorated for the puja.I am cooking a few things for the Puja bhog and then the puja starts in the evening. We then plan to meet a few friends and their kids when they will be lighting lamps and green crackers.

Let’s share light, laughter and love .Have a very Happy blessed Diwali.

Under the Influence by Malini Agarwal:Is it Worth Being A Good Girl on Social Media? Healthwealthbridge by Dr.Amrita Basu

Under the Influence by Malini Agarwal:Is it Worth Being A Good Girl on Social Media? Under the influence by  Malini Agarwal is about the  influence of digital media and whether being good online is even a thing! The tagline "How to Survive and Thrive Online and a  quote by Kusha Kapila on the book cover, aptly sums up the book by saying, "the one who knew influence before influencers were a thing."That's true because I   read the first book by Miss Malini when I started blogging .She has really worked hard at building the business she has built. 1. thank you for sharing about Diwali. I don’t know much about this but did find it interesting.

  2. There are a lot of festivals — it seems like it would be fun to participate.

There are a lot of blogs in the world now and I am sure many more are one the way. I wonder if one day every one has their own blog — who would read all of these words? LOL

    Thought-provoking post…

  3. Happy Diwali! I attended university in Trinidad and the Hindu community there celebrates it. One of my favourite holidays. 😊
