New Children’s Action Adventure Book Launch on KindleUnlimited!

What is a mommy writer supposed to do when getting new storybooks for her book-loving daughter?

You buy books. Yes, that works until you run out of space. Then you tell her stories. All sorts of fantastic adventures and mysteries were waiting for you to solve. The best part about storytelling for kids is that they enjoy the extraordinary and unbelievable and are always up for a good adventure.

That’s the reason I wrote this book. My Children’s Action-Adventure Book was finished, formatted on Kindle Create, and published on KDP.

You can also find all my nonfiction books here. I simply haven’t updated the library of fiction books yet. The pandemic has upset all routine and its a wonder that anything is getting done.

A few fun things I did in this book which I have never done before.

1)The illustrations I drew. All thanks to the many art tutorials and workshops I did over the last year.

2)I used KDP rocket to find my book category and keywords.

I have been using KDP rocket for some time now and it gives you some great ideas for Amazon Kindle keywords and a dive down into the category maze.

It’s a learning curve, and I will tell you more about it in my next post. the best part is the short videos that KDP rocket will help you .But for the post, I want to talk about another of Canva’s superpowers.

One of the most important reasons I got Canva pro was to grow my writing career. Everyone tells you about getting a good cover creator. That’s very important. But when I started, it was not something I could afford or invest in. But CANVA was doable. It was an affordable way to test the waters of self-publishing, and I haven’t looked back. This is the 14th book from the Healthwealthbridge publishing catalog, and I love the freedom of self-publishing.

I followed all the tutorials and guides that CANVA has. I also loved the tips by Mark Dawson in one of the Self-publishing school masterclasses, and I started doing it myself.

My first book, Fruits for Life, has a cover designed by me . I was invited for the Prime Reader opportunity several times. That’s separate from book royalties.

But it’s not bad when you think about how you started. Since then, I have designed all my book covers. I got the work done and how I wanted it. When Pat Flynn wrote about passive income not being passive now, I got that too. It’s more work planning passive income than regular work in a day. But the dream that keeps you awake is a dream worth having.

The point is that self-publishing, like everything else, is a risk. How much you are willing to risk depends on you. Help with grammar and design are crucial unless you are a professional or can afford professional help.

AI and services like these are a Godsend.
