I have a difficult time always being nice .My hubby manages to be civil, in most situations .Even unpleasant ones.He is always telling me to understand the other person’s perspective.
Absolutely impossible sometimes.
Frustrating at others.
My typical argument ends with me asking my hubby ,why people dont just listen and follow my advice. I obviously know best.Right.Hubby silent.Me enraged.
When I started making blogger friends online I realized it’s really easy to be nice to people when you think and write.
So I am trying to think and speak too
Not just blurt out the first thing that comes to your mind.
Spontaneity is great.If you get your way.But if it’s not helping you.You need a new game plan.
A balance of reaction and action makes your life beautiful.
Less reaction and more action.
Today at the jaipurgirl@dixita’s blog I read about speaking slowly and softly.
I am a hyperexcited talkative mom, on coffee .So slow and soft was an interesting concept.
This book teaches you how to deal with people “slowly and softly.”
While reading the book “How to win friends and influence people”, the author explains why the book is important to read.

You might have great professional expertise but if you can’t express ideas,be a leader when needed ,get people to rally behind you, then your success may be limited.
It will take you a long time to make your first million.
But if you know the secret(there is one).
Secret to people magically doing what you want .Without arguments.
Thas when good things happen.

You deal with people every moment of everyday.Did anyone ever teach you,how to make them do what you want ?
Plus they should feel happy doing it .
It’s also great if they think it‘s their idea, in the first place.That way you don’t irritate them.
Sounds spooky.Maybe I am day dreaming. But this is plain old human psychology.
Maybe not plain.But definitely old .Human psychology.People skills.People engineering. Call it anything.It’s very important for success.
Something which can help you me, your next door neighbours and all mothers.Don’t you want your children to be obedient?Don’t you want them to known whats good for them?
Only if you learn great people skills,you can teach them too.
Habits formed in childhood are the building blocks for a good life .
So mom’s dont forget to give this book a reading.Or atleast follow my book summary.

That’s why I love this book.I like people.I am friendly ,but a tad opinionated.So hopefully this book is smoothening the edges.A slow process.But remember the tortoise.Perseverance is my real name.
