Why Write an E-book?

Why Write an E-book?
Why Write an E-book?

For the MyFriendAlexa challenge this year, I will be sharing my journey with writing, ebooks, and self-publishing on KDP.

At various times I have written about them. But this series during My Friend Alexa is going to be a significant update for 2021.My Friend Alexa is my favorite Blogchatter Blogging Challenge. But before I get started on this journey, there’s a necessary disclaimer.

Disclaimer: I share what works for me in this journey. Results will vary.

If you are part of My Friend Alexa, you are already writing and know its excellent benefits. I even wrote a book about it. You can listen to a few chapters from the audiobook here.

I am sharing book two in my Krishna Mishra series, just for you . It’s free for a Limited Time.

I also have the 4th book in the Krishna Mishra series coming up soon for the Festival season release. Subscribe to know more.

So Why Write an ebook?

1) If you are blogging and want to build your authority, writing a book helps. Suppose you’re going to get the word out about your expertise without blowing your horns with paid ads. In that case, writing a super helpful ebook for your audience will be perfect.

But isn’t that why you started to blog?

Oh yes. The point is that blogging involves many things. Still, a blog post is not enough to really go into the details of a particular topic. You can just touch a few of them at the most. Plus, reading online takes time, data and is not always convenient. But a pdf or if your books on Kindle then anyone can read anytime.

2)Writing, after all, is a beautiful way to communicate.

3)Plus, it’s an heirloom for your kids. You want them to learn to write too, maybe?

4)A family story.

5)A milestone.

6)Possible passive income.

7) A chance to help people all over the world.

8) Sometimes you need to write a book to understand where you are coming from. It’s a journey inside your mind and coming up knowing yourself better. Whatever type of book you want to write, before talking about it, can you write it?

A book is something people understand. A blog still may need explaining. Plus, you may attract a publisher who will sign you up (that’s a dream for many).Or a movie producer or maybe even a web series. In this world, the sky is the limit.

But it’s the book that needs to be written.

Can you write it?

5 Reasons you must write a book

You have a story inside you. (We all do )

You want to spread awareness about a topic you feel passionate about.

You want to teach something you are good at and which others will be helped by.

You always wanted to be a writer.

You want to build authority in a particular niche.

A combination of all these.

One reason you shouldn’t write a book

You want to tick writing a book off your list.

Writing this for MyFriendAlexa .
