Things That Make My Heart Flutter Also make Me Stronger

Things can’t make my heart flutter, my husband can. Thats it . That’s the post.

Dear husband you make my heart flutter. You make me believe everything will be okay that I am enough. That I can do it. Heart fluttering is just the beginning. If anyone can make rolling chapatis fun when they are by my side , it’s you.

When Blogchatter tells us to write about a topic , I often wonder what to write. But this time, it was easy .I knew it was going to be a one-line post . But when I started writing, I realized something.

Writing what’s on my mind makes my heart feel all happy too. It’s like chatting with my best friend, who always keeps my secrets and never forgets to boost my morale—a friend inside me.

Then yesterday was MahaShivratri, and as I painted my version of Lord Shiva, my daughter said the expression in your Shivji s eyes makes me feel he is calm and the world is going to be alright. That’s wisdom from the mouth of babes, and I had to give her a smile and a kiss before returning to painting .

Lord Shiva Painting with 108 names and Om Namah Shivah written on it.

That’s when it struck me drawing and painting makes me go all dewy eyed too. It’s like falling in love with all thats creative inside me.I wanted to write this down before I over-judged and stopped writing. That’s the problem in February when I Write A page a Day with Blogchatter and write in my diary and can’t find time to post on my blog. It’s a weird problem. Self doubt and the imposter syndrome dance together, laughing at me. But then, when I find a lovely prompt like this one in my mail box, I start again.

Writing this for the #BlogchatterBlogHop prompts .
