After listening to Modiji before the fourth lockdown, the most important thing I understood, sweeping cleaning, washing cooking will continue. No chance of house help shortly.

Why Staying home & Gardening is a life saver!

The children don’ t like studying glued up to laptops. At least my daughter needs us to explain things to her. So I need to moo like a cow and show her the sparrows eating the seeds before she sits down to write about the essay on favorite birds.

When her music teacher sent her music notes and a song to learn through WhatsApp, it was mommy who sat down to sing with her after almost twenty years. The Lockdown life is more than what any us bargained for!I feel more grateful every day for the way the higher powers are keeping us safe.

Listen to my daughter singing a famous Rabindrasangeet playing the harmonium

When the little one enrolled for the Whitehat junior coding class we downloaded the cute Grasshopper app to start coding with her. When the first pumpkin seed gave us fresh leafy greens I planted seven more seeds. Now we have enough pumpkin green under production for the next two months.

When I installed two bird feeders in two if my balcony, I didn’t know I would end up cleaning the bird poop every day. They pooped even before this time, but my part-time house help was there. I would love the sparrows and their melodious chirping more, only if they pooped somewhere else! Nowadays they sit in the small balcony every evening and rest.I love looking after my plants, fishes, and these sparrows. In times like these being close to nature is a stress buster.

Then there was this thing with Blogchatter Ebook, which was finally submitted on the very last day. My fourth year in a row and third year as a mentor. I always get the same feeling ag the pit if my stomach. The other book in the Nutrition secrets series is coming along nicely.

How is the Health of the Nation: The report is an eye-opener!

  1. Your daughter has a beautiful voice and I love that instrument, never heard of it! Also yout balcony garden looks lovely! For the past few months we’ve been camping out in our backyard and making new gardens. Lia loves helping and it also teaches her about gardening and plants. Her vegetables are starting to blossom and we have little squash. So this stay at home really doesn’t bother us, we have fun things to do in the yard.

  2. India’s lockdown is far more serious than what pertains in the States. Good luck!. And, stay safe!
