Our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the National Air Quality Index (AQI), for monitoring the quality of air in major urban centers across the country in 2015. This one looks to be quite a useful product in the times we live in. The air inside an AC car is infectious. Even when somabody sneezes, the germs rotate inside only unless you open the windows. It is very important to clean this air. I am sure this car purifier is doing a great job.

When we lived on Big Island, Hawaii, vog (volcanic smog) was a problem. In the mornings, the air smelled of smoke and ash. Black grime coated our screens. Now that we live in Phoenix, the low humidity (1-7%) brings desert dust. Low winds do not blow away pollutants from “the valley of the sun” so the horizon is hazy and yellow. It makes for pretty sunsets, but does not help our health.
