My Village Home and Garden Tour(Video)

I thought I had time to learn more, time to practice what I learned. Earn from what I learned. But what I really re-learned was, time doesn’t standstill. The more you stuff it with activities, the less gets done.

Having a green environment to play in, is not only important for our kids, but also for our own health. We are a part of nature and will always be happier and healthier when we have nature all around us as we go about our work. Branches swaying, birds chirping and me painting, while my family is doing what they love around me. Isn’t that a lovely dream to have ? The pandemic gave me focus. More about the garden, what we are growing, and our plans with it in the next series of Home and garden posts on Healthwealthbridge.

Life moves in its own way. The things you thought you would do when the kid grew up, the cook came, night duties stopped may not make sense when you finally think it’s time. It’s much easier to scribble on paper than stare at the computer screen. There’s something about pen to paper that makes me may voluble. It’s like talking to a childhood friend.
I was reading or about Doctors who paint and I came upon Dr. Paul’s website. He takes about how art in the form of music, painting is always quicker healing Convalescence. The pandemic has sneakily leached into everything that we do. Last Wednesday white talking to my friend Thea a very talented artist. We discussed how sometimes scary stuff teaches us something beautiful.

We would probably never had renovated the family home in the village, if not for the lockdown. We had way too many excuses. All very real. But the pandemic made us crave open spaces and green trees like fish to water. We need green spaces to survive and my balcony garden though lovely, still couldn’t stop me from feeling like a bird in a cage, whom the sparrows came to visit every day. It’s a simple single-story structure with a front courtyard and a back kitchen garden. We have planted fruit trees, flowers, and plenty of leafy greens. With each season we are enjoying a different part of the garden. The best part is when I hear my daughter and two of her friends giggle while running around. But truth be told, this was a project meant for the kids and turned out to be our soul saver. If we had sold off the ancestral property when it was falling apart, this would never have been possible.
The Universe knows what we need and things happen.
