FESTA FRAWLI 2024,Malta
Last Sunday,we visited the popular, annual spring event,Festa Frawli or Strawberry festival in Malta.
Like every year this year also the event took place at the main square, outside Mgarr parish church. There were many attractive food stalls.They were selling colourful delicious looking desserts,snacks,beverages, savory items,jam,jelly etc.all made from fresh local strawberries.
Mounds of freshly picked strawberries were on display and for sell too.
The church square was pretty crowded. Folk music and dance performed by local artists using traditional instruments pulled many visitors.A nice event which attracted locals and foreigners alike.

My mouth is watering just looking at all those delicious strawberries! I like to freeze them and make smoothies. Looks like a wonderful festival.
