All things Love #MMM

In the fifteen years of knowing my best friend, I have been married 9 years.

Honestly, I have never written a love letter to him.Ever!

If I had to write  I would probably not know where to start.

What can I  tell someone who knows me inside out?

What can I say to a friend who knows my mind before I do?

Dear husband,

Always be my friend. Thanks for standing up for me ,when I was too broken. For being there ,when I wanted someone to listen to my rants.Thank you for letting me be me.

I think being your friend and wife ,has made me a believer in magic .

I  believe you have made me stronger and more creative by never judging me.Even when I want to lift heavier dumbells or try pottery, your support makes me feel blessed

I feel we have known each other for ages before we even met .

When all is said and done you are my soul mate .Clichéd but true. We both have old soul’s and young spirits !

It really doesn’t matter that we are very different people .What matters is we believe in the same things.

Let’s have some more adventures together.

Loads of love

XOXO Amrita

  1. I’ve never thought about writing a love letter to my husband. It’s a great idea that would definitely bring two people even closer.

  2. Looks like getting married to your best friend was the best decision ever 🙂 He’s quite lucky to have you too coz this relationship is a two way street and I wish you grow stronger together !

  3. You are lucky Amrita- when you say He knows you inside out. Its a great chance for you as you have not written a letter to him till yet.

  4. It’s such a revelation writing about your feelings for the one who matter’s the most. Lovely letter 🙂

  5. This is such a sweet letter Amrita. I agree it’s not easy to write a letter to a person who knows you more than yourself. After so many years of marriage, we know each other so well that some times there is no need to say anything.
