One fine day in 2016 I read a book.It was called The Go-Giver by Bob Burg &John David Mann
I wrote about it several times. But today its different. It’s not a book summary or a review.
It’s a book I loved. I have to pass the good deed forward. The Go-Giver is a quick read. Some books you read to learn something. Some are entertainment. Some help you do something and some will help you live better. But few will help you look inside your soul
Thats what this book does.It makes you look inside your soul.
If you have ever wondered why you are not getting what you want, wait no more pick up the book.
If you are wondering how to receive abundance in your life, you must read the book.
If you are always frustrated with things not working out, maybe read this book.
It was after reading this book, I started my #ThankfulThursdays series. On days when I struggle to write why I am thankful I just need to go through my posts and I know.On days I don’t want to write(like today) I thank God for helping me make this habit of writing, even if it makes little sense.
You wonder why I write when it’s not perfect? Its because someone somewhere will read this one day and will have a eureka moment.I can wish, right? You never know!
Why I loved this book
You can read my favorite quotes here to get a quick idea of the book. But for this book to make a difference you must buy it and read it.
This is not a new book. Its been there for ages. The principals in this book follow the laws of science and are not mere conjectures.
But when the author talks about giving he also explains why.
All our religious books talk about the gift of helping All of them tell us to give without thought of receiving. The book decodes the logic behind this thought.
A favorite Krishna quote goes like this
Ýou can only help those who want to be helped
So also with being helped, getting blessed and receiving abundance in your life.Until you open up your life and heart to helping people, you are also closing your path to receiving blessings.
That’s powerful!
Do you believe in the power of giving?Comment below to let me know.
