Vday gift on a wishing chair! Just what I need today.
When I think of gifts I feel happy.It doesn’t matter how advanced our ages are gifts always make us happy.So what is one gift I would like
This made me think a little.I love reading books and by Gods grace I am always gifted books, win books or buy them.Its lovely .One thing I would like to do more is travel and have more time amongst nature.
I was reading the book big magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and if you have read it you know it’s a strangely light feeling.Like flying.My post today may seem frivolous.But hear me out.Maybe this is a gift you want too?
So what is this gift that I am talking about?
I would like to have a gift of a monthly holiday.
A holiday with a weather like spring in Kolkata when its pleasant with cool nights and pleasant days.
Where there are snow-capped mountains on one balcony view and a dancing river or the sea at the other end.
Will it be a home?
Will it be a resort ?
Will it be a second home?
I don’t know.
What I do know is that housekeeping and cooking will not be my headache.
There will be a balcony garden and a small front garden .A temperature controlled pool.My own kitchen garden a swing in the backyard with a trampoline and a covered temp controlled swimming pool with one way windows.
It will have a climbing wall and an aquarium.Maybe a few hens and a small pond with fishes .
I would like the maintenance totally outsourced to lovely people who love their jobs.I would want a good school nearby where my daughter can catch up with missed schoolwork while we holiday.Maybe a small government hospital nearby where we can spend a few hours everyday.
This place also needs to be within a few hours of where I live .I don’t want to be on the roads too much.
Maybe not monthly .Every fortnight would be best .
Maybe I could have a tree house there too with a Magical forest nearby ?
Does this sound like a dream ?
Will this be all in one place ?I dont know.
Is this even possible ?
Maybe it is .Maybe not!
But no harm in wishing right ?Its a delicious way to spend a lazy afternoon day dreaming and sharing it with you
