MondayMommyMoments January2017 week 4:Favourite online shops

Shopping time !

The best therapy is shopping therapy .

Whats even better than shopping?

Shopping with superb discounts .

Once upon a time the only thing I did with my tab was shop online.

Shop ,shop,shop .

No travelling.

No long cues at the counter.I hate giving money after standing in line.Longer the line, less I want to buy.I end up putting everything in the bins and walking away.If you add my hubby’s glare with a crabby 4 year old and an endless queue ,you will know why I only shop online.

No irritating sales people .

No  stick thin females looking shocked as you tried to get the “L”kurtas  off the hanger, without  getting the shopping helpers come over.

The best part you can even pay on delivery .

Post #Noteban you can pay using your card at home  too. That’s pretty cool.

Amazon

Amazon is my favourite for these and buying my books at amazing deals.

Amazon easily gives the best discount. They have coupon codes too for even better prices.

The only problem. It doesn’t allow me COD or home payment  here.

Even better news is if you are a blogger they allow you to sign up as an affiliate .You can earn upto 12% commission on products brought through your unique link.

Disclaimer :There are affiliate links in this post .That means if you click on the link and buy  anything  I will receive a percentage of the product price. This in no way affects the price you buy at.I only recommend products I personally like and use. My relationship with you is more important than any money I may receive from these transactions. If you do buy something using my link ,you are helping me in  making this website better. My heartfelt appreciation for that.

Due to our jobs at a Medical College we live in a small town in West Bengal. It’s around 325 Km from Kolkata.

So online shops were the best way I could buy my Blueberries Cranberries,Fig,Chia, quinoa.
The great news is their customer care is really great.

Snapdeal

Snapdeal  takes care of everything Amazon doesn’t do for me.Good value for money and easy return policy.Best part ,unlike Amazon Snapdeal let me have COD.

First cry

The best place to start your baby shopping. They give superb discounts on diapers ,wipes and all things baby. Plus the range of age categorized play items ,are mind boggling.

Excellent quality of products ,easy navigation ,good customer care.

Zivame

Zivame is my favourite lingerie cum womens leisure wear shop .Seriously it’s  expensive. But the quality is impeccable. Whatever you  buy is top quality. If you measure properly using their guide, the items  are a great fit.

Just what a busy mommy needs without any hassle. After all taking care of your body the right way, is important. They have feeding inner wear ,nursing tops ,abdomen and back support belts and comfortable but stylish clothes !If you want to look your best with your beautiful baby bump or afterwards anytime ,don’t forget to check out Zivame.

Return policy is  transparent .But no home pickup unlike the ecommerce giants.

Hopscotch

This is like a quick one piece only pop-up shop .Mostly children’s clothing. They are high quality  ,beautiful and will make you very happy. The only downside. A little expensive. But since it’s a special occasion  ,you can splurge.

On a special note I  love shopping through  Groffers ,when I am at home in Kolkata .It’s the best shopping helper for all my home needs.

I love the online furniture shops like Pepperfry and Urban ladder.  But haven’t tried any yet.For my new home I have plans with these.

Any experience with online furniture shopping?

  1. I love all the sites you mentioned, except for firstcry and hopscoth that I haven’t tried! I totally agree that amazon is the best of the lot. I am not so happy with pepperfry’s services, they have a long way to go.

  2. Long queues at the billing counters are a hassle. On Saturdays, it happens most often when you reach the counter after having to wait for a long time in the queues and the system is too slow for checking out or like it happened twice with me in the days after demonetisation where the credit card machines failed to work because the servers shut down due to heavy traffic. There was no other way apart from leaving the goods in the bins and coming back home empty handed. Online shopping any day for me. You have given a good idea about the commission amazon gives to bloggers.

  3. Amazon has become so popular in India. And it’s the best so far. Everything under one roof with numerous deals. However, firstcry had been one of my favourites when I used to shop for diapers.

  4. I am addicted to Amazon & Firstcry too, didn’t try Zivame yet.. will try soon now Thanks to your such dependable details.
