The more I learn about my religion, society, and culture, the calmer I become. My husband might have a different view point about this though.But that’s okay.I am an Indian woman and I can handle a different point of view.
India has roots deep in human civilizational history. The power of anarchic forces is limited by hate and disruption. That’s always a fallout of the power of creation.All our God’s help us remember that.
Growing as a country needs each of us to do our part. Today in the 75th year of Independence, I am grateful that I was born in free India.
I am thankful for all the freedom fighters who made it possible for us to be born free. The most significant gift for living beings is the stay free, and that’s not easy.
We have multiple pujas and or festivals every month of the year. Bengali Hindus have a saying-“Baro Mashey Tero Parban.” Translated it means,thirteen festivals in twelve months. That’s a fantastic way to celebrate the days of our lives.

- I am thankful for the Freedom to write, draw, paint, sing, dance.
- Freedom to learn what I want to.
- The Freedom of the profession to become a doctor. Once upon a time, your profession was determined by your birth.
- The Freedom to marry.
- The Freedom to live the way I want, where I want. As an Indian citizen, I can settle down in any part of India.
- The Freedom to continue to study and earn at the same time.
- Freedom to cook when I want to.Freedom to get it delivered if I like that.
- The Freedom to choose to have a small car and a tiny home when I want to or several houses and a fleet of vehicles.
- The Freedom to run in the fields or play a game of badminton on a Sunday.
- The Freedom to go to less touristy places, if I want to.
- Freedom to blog or not.
- Freedom to live aimlessly or with a purpose.
- The Freedom to do my best.
- The Freedom to speak my mind(within reasons). It’s never a good idea to tell people exactly what we are thinking.
- The Freedom to have equal rights as a daughter.
- The Freedom to be an equal partner as a wife.
- The Freedom to raise my child how I want to.
- The Freedom to dream of being financially independent.
- The Freedom to design my life how I want to live.
- Freedom to tell you how much I appreciate you reading my blog post. It means a lot. You are the reason I started writing and continue to write.
- The Freedom to talk about Freedom.
As I told you yesterday, the perspective of Freedom and bliss is different for different people. The grass may appear greener on the other side. But life is not Instagram reels. It’s not just watching but for living.
