Delhi high court bans the online sale of medicine. A bench of Chief Justice Rajendra Menon and Justice VK Rao passed an interim order on a PIL asking for a ban on “illegal” sale of medicines online. Online pharmacies are often selling medications without prescriptions. Also, self-medication with antibiotics and narcotics will raise public health problems as well as dangerous complications for society. The Central Government has been advised to look into this matter. (Source)
