Harry Potter is in Kolkata:What you must not miss

 

 

Harry Potter is working at Writers Building .He is in charge of the Ministry of Magic,also known as Health and Family welfare ,Govt of West Bengal.
Harry is continuing his training online  as an Auror.

In Kolkata ,his neighbours are very nosey.If he didn’t have a “real” day job he would be the topic of  severe investigation .
Travelling to his  office  by public transport gets  irritating .Brooms are  impossible.
The magic metro goes directly to his office.Living in Southern Avenue he has to  catch it  from the nine and a half metro  platform at Kalighat  .It takes 3 blinks.

Imagine,Harry leaning lightly against  the wall with the Maa Durga pic at Kalighat .Getting to   the nine and a half platform.All this  without attracting attention . There probably will  be 10 more muggles leaning against the same pillar .The shock  will make people  go mad .

The casualties his department will face ,because of this , makes Harry feel dizzy.He could apparate. But apparition  causes WIFI fluctuation .Disturbed internet connectivity  will  derail banking,stock market everything.So that’s out too.

The 200-year-old State Secretariat hides a lot of magic.
One of them is the working  Portkey.
Only problem .Using that port key, he appears  in  the women’s  washroom .
Not a problem if he is early.But today is one of those days.
His youngest Is joining the Hogwarts school of Magic (Kolkata Branch) and Gini is all teary.Obviously, that makes them all late .

 

Harry has a lot of work today. 
The lack of balance between the muggles world’s expectations and what his department can do is exceeding  magical limits.
The strains are visible.But the effort is a worthy one.
His daughter is studying medicine.She says it’s easiest to practice magic when you are a doctor. People already expect miracles.
She is training to give back life  .There’s only one problem .To be helped you need  to  believe in magic .
Her first task was saving the little boy.The one   without the. helmet .The boy  fell  from his father’s bike.His father is okay but the boy…
The little boy loves feeding the  stray cats and dogs.The boy has magic belief radiating from him .

Her enthusiasm makes Harry and Gini smile.

His middle son  is passionate about helping stop terrorism.He thinks a visit to the Postgraduate Institute of Chinese Magic and Brainwashing ,will help him.

Maybe he is on the right mission.
A brainwashed terrorist needs his brain rewashed, rewired and  soaked in love to make it fit.
The Chinese have developed  a way to do this.Pokemon has largely helped.

Kolkata is helping Harry   heal too.The pleasant and beautiful Ganges  makes him remember his mum’s green eyes.
The Angel on the Victoria has his father’s wand in his hand.

He still gets  headaches . Occasionally.

 

 

In Kolkata, the muggles taught him  to relax.A cup of cha, a good book and a few friends to have “adda” with.
He is looking forward to dinner  at Marco Polo.It has butter beer poached Hilsa, as one of the top draws .Ron and Hermione  will be joining too.
Harry  ,Hermione, and Ron have a secret task.
