Book Review:Midnight Musings By Romila

When I review books I am happy. Today on my blog I review Midnight Musings by Romila. I love reading and will gladly read all day. But reviewing is a different game. It is an opinion about someoné’s creative efforts and I love creativity. How do you review someone’s soul work?

But another thing which I adore is an adventure.,when people try something new. It takes a brave soul to write and a lion heart to write a poetry book. Romila wrote a short book of poetry Midnight Musings.

What is the book about?
It’s a poetry book. Haiku to be exact.

Favorite Haiku
Envy and Ying.

Book Review

Pros

Short, smart and only one word which fits it, quirky. You will love it if you like words weaving a mystery. I  read Romila’s blog often, but this was the first time I  read her poems  I must say it was the most refreshing surprise ever.

BOOK REVIEW: Midnight Musings by Romila

Cons:

I  racked my brain for this. Only one thing a small con.I wish the book cover did more justice to the content. It says little or nothing about the magic inside.

Writing style
Fresh, thought-provoking, with a raw sense of humor.A little dark and deep in parts. But that’s life too.

Book Blurb

Though a short book of just 26 Haiku poems. It’s an anthology of contemporary English-language haiku with a willingness to have a broad definition of what constitutes haiku. It has lots of good stuff in it. Read the whole book to know more. The poems are on different themes with lots of depth and insight.
