Risk factors for increasing Bacterial vaginosis are
- Multiple partners
- Prior trichomoniasis,
- Intrauterine device usage,
- Smoking,
- Use of scented soap
More than 50% of all women with BV are asymptomatic.Treatment of asymptomatic women needs detailed evaluation.
