Proteins are the building blocks of our body.Hair is all protein. Do you have protein in your breakfast?Cysteine ,methionine are important for making enough of the protein to keep hair healthy. L-Lysine helps prevent hair fall , is also responsible for hair shape and volume.
What are the Dietary sources of these hair friendly amino acids?
Eggs, cottage cheese, yoghurt, fish, meat, poultry, legumes, lentils, beans, peas, broad beans, seeds (pumpkin , sunflower seeds, sesame), nuts.
Healthy fats are important.Fats present in the diet, take part in steroid hormones synthesis.The steroid hormones regulate hair growth .and hair fall.Also, the protective layer of skin and hair contain fats.Low quantity of the good fat causes hair fall.So does a high quantity of bad fat.

Just 2 things you should remember.
The humble Coconut oil penetrates into your hair shaft.Sunflower oil and mineral oil added as an additive in several branded serum does zero for your hair.Coconut oil is a triglyceride of lactic acid has a great affinity for hair proteins.It has a low molecular weight and a straight chain , easily enters the hair shaft.
Mineral oils are hydrocarbons has no protein affinity and does not enter hair shaft.So no benefit.
Sunflower oil is a triglyceride of linoleic acid.But it has a bulky, clumsy structure, which does not allow penetration into the hair shaft.
Result: no benefit.
How to take care of hair fall naturally?
